"I can't believe we all had to go through that because of her.." - Alex says.
"It's indeed awful, but I'm glad it's all over" - Debbie adds. "We have a chance to start a new life, all the evil is gone"
"It really is" - Perrie smiles slightly.
Thanks to her it is. She did everything she could to make sure that her parents and the love of her life are safe and happy. If she has to, she'll do it all over again. She won't let anyone hurt them anymore. If they only knew how much she sacrificed for this.
"So Alex," - Perrie's dad says. "Why didn't you invite your family?"
"My brother's away with his girlfriend.. and my mum is currently in the hospital with my ex's mum.." - he explains briefly.
"Oh yeah I heard about that" - Debbie says. "It's a real tragedy, I hope she gets better soon.."
"Four people died though" - Alexander adds. "She really shouldn't have driven drunk, she could be held accountable for that, she could end up in prison"
Perrie's still feeling guilty for it. She's trying her hardest not to think about it, but her dad really had to go there and talk about it. On a side note, however, she didn't think about the fact that Mia would be blamed for the death of the people who died in the crash. Nobody except Lucas knows that she's the one who did it. But he wouldn't tell anyone about it, except maybe Jesy, of course. She promised him she'd give him one of Mark's villas in return for the favour. Another reminder, she needs to get that sorted out with her lawyer.
"Let's change the topic, shall we?" - Perrie speaks up, shifting in her seat uncomfortably. "It's been enough for today.."
"Are you okay babe?" - Alex looks at her and takes her hand.
"Yeah, all of this is just a little bit overwhelming.."
"If you're tired we can go home baby" - Debbie says.
"No, you can stay, I'm fine"
She doesn't mind having her parents over. In fact, this is their first time having dinner with Alex. With everything that's been happening, they really didn't even have a chance to have a normal evening with their families. Their lives are far from normal, or at least they were. From now on, they're going to live their happily ever after.
The rest of the evening goes by quickly, mostly of it with Perrie's parents talking to Alex, because everyone could tell how distracted Perrie was. She kept saying that she's fine, but she just has a lot of things to think and worry about. Her biggest troubles are over, but there are many more things connected to work. And let's not even forget to mention the weight of guilt she's carrying. Nothing connected to her murder though, but the innocent people who were victims of her own revenge.

The following day Perrie and Alex leave London again. Her and Alex are going to live together in Alex's house for a little while, because they decided to start looking for another house. Perrie paid her last rent in her house in London, packed everything again and left that house. She's finally going to have time to focus on her job, get the building ready and finally be able to decorate it the way she wants. Alex has been very supportive of her and he doesn't fail to remind her how proud he is. She's come a long way, but she's finally getting where she wants to be in life.
Thinking about it, three years ago, she was just a waitress in a restaurant, still lived in the foster home and shared a room with Jesy. Two years ago, she had just married Mark, she thought that her life was great. She was finally getting the attention and care she always wanted, she was getting spoiled with presents every other day. And a year ago, she was probably in hospital, laying next to Alex's dead-like body, crying her eyes out, begging him to wake up. It's crazy how much her life can change in only a year. She really went through the worst, she deserves to life a good life now, she deserves to be happy with her loved ones.
