"Of course, there was nothing wrong with them, but I don't know shit about cars" - Perrie chuckles.
"Are you really going to do this..?" - Lucas asks her. "Don't get me wrong, but this is getting out of control"
"What's getting out of control? I'm not attacking innocent people" - she says with an offended tone.
"But even killing people with a motive is illegal"
"As if what you're doing isn't illegal. I'm just giving them what they deserve Lucas. Plus you're getting a villa worth millions of dollars for this, I don't know why are you even complaining"
"I guess you're right"
Perrie has been thinking about this for a long time, deciding whether it's the right thing to do or not. She hates the fact that she let herself get this far, but she can't go back now. She doesn't want to end up in prison. And she doesn't trust Mia enough to just threaten her. She has to end this case completely. She dared to go on with Wendy's shitty advice and flirt with Alex, she's going to pay for it.
Currently, she's with Lucas in a small forest out of the city. He wanted to teach Perrie how to use the gun, she doesn't know shit about it even though she was sure that she'd manage. They didn't tell Jesy, of course. Lucas said that he's working on something else, and Perrie said that she's working on the interior design of the branch she's going to open in Manchester.
Of course, she didn't believe them. She knew it had something to do with the thing they're hiding from her. That's why she decided to follow Lucas. She saw him pick Perrie up from in front of her house and drive out of the city. Eventually, she decided that she doesn't want to see what they were doing, because she's convinced that Lucas is cheating on her with Perrie. At one point, she wanted to call Alex and tell him, but she wanted to have an evidence first, even though she's not brave enough to get it, yet.. So she drove back home in tears, thinking about what to do next.
"Alright, take a hold of it with your right hand, and put your left hand on top of the other one. You need to have a good grip, but don't hold it too tight. Like this" - Lucas says as he shows her how to hold the gun. "When you see your knuckles turn white, that's when you know that you're holding it too tight. Get it?"
"Yep, let me try now" - Perrie says and takes it out of his hand. Lucas stands behind her and fixes the position of her finger.
"Now put your finger on the trigger, but don't pull it yet" - he chuckles. "Now, you need to have a good posture. You need to stand in such a way that you feel more comfortable, in this case, with your legs slightly wider. Get it?"
Perrie nods and he keeps going. She aims at the target through the front and the rear sight. Once she's comfortable and ready, on Lucas' sign, she pulls the trigger.
"Solid, as it's your first try" - he comments.
"But I completely missed it" - Perrie frowns.
"At least the gun didn't fly out of your hand" - he says. "It was good, trust me"
"Okay, I want to try once again"
In the next hour, after about a hundred of shot bullets, Perrie finally manages to shoot the target, right in the centre. Once she sees her accomplishment, she starts jumping around and screaming.
"Yes! I did it" - she says as she hugs Lucas. "Did you see that?"
"Yeah, well done" - he chuckles and hugs her back. "Now you're ready to try it on an animal"
"What? No" - she says, pulling away. "I'm not shooting at innocent animals"
"I know, I was just kidding" - Lucas says with a smile. "I know you'd never do it"
