Chapter 30

*Kinda long chapter*

"Oh Alex, welcome" - Mia's mum, Helen, welcomes the couple at the door. "Come in" 

"Helen, this is my girlfriend, Perrie" - he motions to the blondie, who lets go of his hand to take off her coat. 

"Nice to meet you Mrs Knowlton" - Perrie smiles slightly. 

"You can call me Helen, sweetie" - the brunette woman smiles wider. "You're gorgeous" 

"Thank you.." 

"So where's Mia?" - Alex gets straight to the topic. 

"She's resting in her room, I told her that you're coming to see her" 

Alex doesn't even look at Perrie before he makes his way towards Mia's room. He just leaves her in the hallway with her mum. She can't help but get jealous again, it literally looks like he cares for Mia more than he cares for his own girlfriend. The girlfriend he wanted to make a baby with last night. 

"Do you want something to drink dear?" - Helen asks Perrie. 

"Uh, no thank you. I'll go see Mia too.." 

"You know, I don't know why Wendy doesn't like you very much. I think you're such a sweet girl. You and Alex look great together, I knew that he wasn't the one for Mia, but she didn't listen.." 

Only if this woman knew that Perrie was the one who got her daughter in this condition.. It almost makes Perrie feel guilty for what she did, but it doesn't. You team up with Wendy to tear Perrie away from Alex, expect to get your neck snapped. 

"Thank you so much.. I really wish none of this happened.." 

"Yeah, me too.." - she sighs. 

"I'll go with them now.." - Perrie nervously dismisses Helen and goes in the direction Alex went earlier. 

She quickly finds Mia's bedroom and walks in quietly. The first thing she notices is Alex holding Mia's hand. Perrie's rage starts growing as she walks up closer to them. Alex looks at her, notices her pissed expression and glare at their hands, so he slowly lets go of Mia's hand and clears his throat. Then she looks at Mia and smiles slightly at her. 

"Hi Mia.. I'm glad to hear that you're okay" - she says. 

"Sit down babe.." - Alex tells her, and Perrie smiles more as she sits down on the chair next to her bed. 

Mia looks completely miserable, she's looks like she has at least ten broken bones. It's actually sad. She used to be such a gorgeous girl. Now she's all covered in bruises and scratches. She's looking at Alex without even blinking. Perrie could tell that he was talking to her before she walked in. He's so caring, but she doesn't want him to be like that with her. He's only doing this because he's pitying her, just because she did this because she wanted him. 

"I'll go and have a word with your mum" - he tells her, then looks at Perrie. "You'll stay with her for a bit, right?" 

"Yeah, don't worry" - she smiles slightly at him. 

Alex stands up and gives them a sympathetic look before he leaves the room and closes the door behind them. Perrie sits on the spot Alex was sitting previously and looks at Mia. The soft look in her eyes she had when she was looking at Alex disappeared, she's now staring coldly at Perrie. Perrie, on the other side, doesn't even want to act like she's sorry for her. 

"I kinda told you to leave us alone Mia" - Perrie says. "Why did you threaten me? That was such a big mistake sweetie" 

Mia's eyes fill up with tears, but the only movement she can do right now is blink. She tries not to cry, but she can't control the tears. It takes her just a second to realise that Perrie was behind her accident. Her sad eyes are full with hatred towards Perrie right now. If she could only open her mouth and tell Alex about it. If he knew the truth, he'd never look at her the same way again.
