"I said shut the fuck up" - she pushes him down on the ground. "As you take your last breath, remember that this is not me, this is just karma. You're paying for everything you've done to me, Alex, Wendy, Christian and everyone else I don't know about. I might not get Alex back, but you'll never hurt him Mark, never. I hope you burn in hell"

"Help!" - Perrie shouts as she runs back inside the house. "Mark.. He's.. He fainted.." - she says as if she's out of breath.

The music goes off and everyone runs out the door in Mark's direction. Perrie is the last one to go outside and follow the crowd. Everyone gathers around Mark, but only one person dares to touch him, a man who's apparently a doctor and Mark's friend. He checks his pulse and his breathing, but they're pretty much non-existent now. Perrie took her time before she came back inside the house.

"Call an ambulance" - he shouts. "He's not breathing"

"Oh my God.." - Wendy mumbles as she covers her mouth.

"Everyone back off. We need space, don't make a crowd" - the man says as he tries to give him first aid and bring him back to life.

"Perrie.. What happened?" - Alex asks her as him and Christian walk up to her.

"I.. I don't know.." - she tears up. "We were talking.. eating muffins.. and suddenly he started coughing.. I asked him if he wanted water but he fainted before I could get any.."

"Is the ambulance on the way?" - the doctor shouts.

"They'll be here in a couple of minutes" - a woman says.

"Will he make it..?" - Christian asks.

"It's hard to say.."

A few people start crying, including Perrie, Mia and even Wendy. Perrie covers her face as she forces her tears, even though she doesn't even have to. So much happened in one night, she has enough reasons to cry, but she doesn't want to do it for Mark. She doesn't feel bad at all.

Wendy sobs as she walks up closer to Mark. Mia hugs Alex as he just stares at his dad's body and back at Perrie, and Christian just embraces his girlfriend Emily. Perrie doesn't even have to act miserable, but she has to act like she's sad for Mark. She's not even sorry.

The paramedics arrive a minute and they immediately connect him to a breathing machine and measure his blood pressure. Whatever they do will be for nothing, they just need to confirm everyone's thoughts.

"Any family members?" - a paramedic asks as she lets go of Mark's hand.

Alex and Christian step up, holding their girlfriends' hands. Perrie looks at Alex and Mia up and down and lowers her head. She hates seeing someone else being there for Alex.

"He's dead.. I'm so sorry.." - she says with a heavy heart. "My condolences.."

People start crying even harder, especially Alex and Christian. She glances at them and her heart breaks at the sight of them. She caused this.. She killed their father. She became a criminal, and there's no going back now. She just made so many people sad, including the love of her life. But this is better than letting Mark kill him, right?

"I'm so sorry for your loss.." - Perrie says without even looking at him.

"Thank you.." - Alex mumbles.

The two of them were the only ones who stayed outside. Christian, Wendy, Mia and Emily went inside to collect themselves, the rest of the guests just went home, but Alex couldn't go back in the house. He needed some time on his own, to get some air and process the fact that his father is dead. Perrie didn't want to leave him alone, for obvious reasons.
