Chapter 27

"Where is she?" - Perrie asks as she storms into Jesy's house. "Is she still upstairs?"

"Yes, and listen to me now" - Lucas says, grabbing Perrie's arm and pulling her back, as she started walking up the stairs. 

"I don't want her to be hurt, so-"

"I don't want her to be hurt either Lucas. Do you think that I don't care about her?"

"Well with what you've been doing recently you don't really seem to care about anyone else except yourself" - he snaps. "I heard the news, four people died in that accident"

"Shut up" - Perrie snaps back, snatching her arm out of his grip. "First off, I've known Jesy my whole life, you've only known her for a year or two. And second, I've done the biggest sacrifices out of everyone you know in your life. I've become such an awful person, I know that, but I didn't do it for my pleasure. I did it to protect the people I love"

"I want you to tell Jesy the whole truth" 

"I will" - she says and makes her way upstairs. 

She gets to Jesy's bedroom and knocks gently on the door before trying to open it. As expected, it's locked. 

"Jesy.."

No answer, the only thing she can hear is Jesy's quiet sobbing coming from inside. 

"Jesy please open the door.." - Perrie says. "I have something to tell you.." 

"I don't wanna hear anything you have to say Perrie, I know everything" - she shouts. 

What does she know? She doesn't know anything. What she thinks is the truth is actually far from it. 

"No you don't.. Please open the door and hear me out" 

"Go home and leave me alone" - Jesy says. 

Lucas seems to have heard her, so he walks up to Perrie and motions her to step away. Perrie does so and he suddenly throws himself at the door, breaking it. Perrie looks inside and sees Jesy on the floor next to the bed, hugging her knees and crying. She walks in and kneels down in front of her best friend. She didn't really seem to be bothered by the fact that he just broke her door, she just turns her head away from them. 

"I don't wanna talk to either of you.. I don't wanna hear your lies" 

"I'll tell you the truth.." - Perrie says calmly and motions at Lucas to leave them alone. 

"What truth? That you were the one seeing my boyfriend behind my back?" 

"Yes.." - she admits. "But it's not what you think.." 

"Wow.. You really are my best friend.." - Jesy says and looks away from her. 

"Hear me out.. I did see Lucas behind your back and I'm so sorry for it. It was because I wanted to get my revenge on Mia and Mary, and I knew that you wouldn't support the ideas I had in my head and would try to change my mind.. I did something horrible.. I asked Lucas to promise me he wouldn't tell you anything, I made him lie to you.. I shouldn't have done that.." 

"Why do you think I'll believe you?" 

"You don't have to believe me.. but that's the truth.." - Perrie says.

"What about the time you went in the fucking forest? You weren't chasing Mia there. And you were with him yesterday when he told me he was with Jordan" 

This catches Perrie off guard. She knew about them going in the forest? That was like a week ago.. She knew about this all along and still pretended that she didn't know anything. And Perrie just acted innocent, when both of them knew that she wasn't. This makes her feel even worse now.
