You looked around the dark room, trying to figure out what options you had that could get you out. Even if you could use something to break the door, where would you go? You didn't know the layout of this place and most probably some other League of Villains members would just capture you and make it more difficult to escape again. You looked around, the room had no windows, and the small bathroom attached to it had no window either.
What was this place? Was this Shigaraki's personal room? Why was he living in such poor state? Why couldn't he afford a proper bed? The only nice thing in his room was his computer. Speaking of which, a brilliant idea came to your mind. Of course! You could send an email to Overhaul and being as crafty as he was, he would be able to locate you somehow.
You wasted no time in accessing his desktop but were disgruntled by the hygiene of his set up. Several keys on his keyboard as well as the mouse had grime on it, and an empty chips bag and soda were right next to it. You decided to not let that bother you too much.
According to the time on screen, it was already 2 AM. Only a few hours had passed since the party turned into a disaster. Much to your chagrin, he was logged out of his account and needed to sign back in with a password. You groaned. What could his password possibly be? All for One? You gave that a try but that was apparently not it. You didn't have time to be guessing his password so you decided to hack into his computer instead. You were familiar with this operating system so it was doable but it would take some time and you weren't sure when he would return.
Making no haste, you decided to start working through the commands and hoping that you could get in and send an email to Overhaul before Shigaraki came back. It took you nearly twenty-five minutes to get in and you immediately opened the browser and logged into one of your dummy accounts. The loading logo was killing you. You decided to just send him a blank message, he would get the hint. Just as you typed the first few letters of his email address, you heard the door swung open behind you, and just as quickly, you clicked alt tab and opened some random reddit post.
You tried your best to hide your frustration as you faced the crusty man, feigning innocence, but damn it, you were so close! Why couldn't he have appeared a second later?
Shigaraki looked stunned. "How did you figure out my password?"
Oh crap. "Well... you forgot to log out."
"I'm pretty sure I locked it before leaving."
You shrugged your shoulders and innocently pouted at him. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked away. "Must have slipped my mind..."
Thank gosh he bought that. "Do you mind if I use for a while? I want to check the news."
He grabbed a chair across the room and sat down beside you. "Go ahead."
Great, now he was watching use his computer. You had to find a way to discreetly finish typing Overhaul's email address and send it.
With his permission, you opened a new tab and searched what was the current situation. The heroes have successfully pushed back the Nomu from your party, several were injured but at least no casualties among them, the only victims were reporters, some of your associates and board members, including Kusumoto and your COO. You were reported to be missing.
You scrolled down to the comments, there a few users who found it suspicious that you were nowhere to be found and wondered if you orchestrated this, but there were also some defending you, commenting that your sister had been used as ransom before so they might have done something to you this time. Still, this was very bad.
You ran your fingers through your hair and sighed in frustration.
"Who cares what they think? Once the heroes they idolize so much will fall, no one can protect them anymore and no one will dare to say anything about you when you're under our protection... " He spoke up upon noticing your reaction but it did nothing to soothe your nerves.
