Summary: In this ending, reader will betray Overhaul and exclusively ally herself with Shigaraki
You spent the next few days contemplating your situation. Knowing what Kai had done, how could you just sit around pretending nothing happened?
Frankly, you didn't even want to stay here anymore, but where could you even go with that darn microchip installed inside of you? You needed help from someone in having it removed, as well as a secure place where you could get the Shie Hassaikai off your back without getting exposed. Someone who could keep you safe from them.
There was only one place that came to mind: The League of Villains. Sure enough, Shigaraki was just as crooked and committed his fair share of atrocities but siding with the lesser evil seemed to be a better option at this point. He was also the only person who had been honest with you about Eri. Plus, they also had many promising members and someone who was directly related to one of the heroes, such as Dabi, would surely be a valuable asset.
If only you could convince Shigaraki somehow to exclusively partner with you and cut ties with the Shie Hassaikai... though that in itself sounded easier in your head than it really would be. Still, before you could even attempt anything, the real challenge would be to contact him in the first place. While you were tracked anywhere you went and your phone being monitored, it was impossible to reach him without Overhaul knowing.
You remembered that Twice and Himiko Toga were now members of the Shie Hassaikai, and even though they were in the same compound, it was difficult to make contact with them and took a lot of patience and discretion to finally speak to them. Dealing with Himiko Toga was nerve wrecking and downright terrifying but both were more than willing to help once you revealed that you wanted to exclusively ally yourself with their leader, and would help smuggle you out of the compound so that you could meet him.
It would take some time to prepare and wait for the right moment. Overhaul mentioned to you about a gang member visiting and you decided that would be the perfect time to execute your escape. After he visited your room, he would assume you'd stay and hopefully be too busy with his meeting to check the tracker of your microchip. Twice created a clone of you that would stay in your room in case the other members were to check on you, and Toga disguised herself as a member and would take you outside. You put on dark clothes and a spotted a plague mask, pretending to be another Shie Hassaikai member as you made your way with her out of the residence.
Once outside, you let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding and your heart pounded in your chest. You were actually free! It would be nice if you didn't have to come back anymore but that would all depend on what deal you could make with Shigaraki. You had one shot and you couldn't waste it. Hopefully Overhaul didn't check the tracker anytime soon...
You were several blocks away now from the residence and a truck picked you up to take you to to the meeting point. After about half an hour of driving, you followed Toga into an alley and opened one of the doors for you. You removed your disguise and stepped inside.
The door behind you closed and you found yourself inside a small bar. Different kinds of liquors were lined up behind glass and a bar counter with stools occupied the majority of the tiny space. The pastel-haired leader of the League of Villains being the only one present here with his elbows resting on the counter, his scarlet red eyes watching you. You tensed up a little at the realization you were alone with him again, remembering that the last time you saw each other didn't go so well.
"So, you came back, (y/n). I told you that Overhaul is a piece of shit. You shouldn't have doubted me in the first place."
"Yes, you were right about everything. I'm sorry."
