It's been a few months since then and the Shie Hassaikai worked meticulously for you. If you had any doubts about the Shie Hassaikai, Overhaul made sure to erase them and make you realize no one else but them could work so hard to carry out your tasks and protect you. Anyone who failed would be disposed of. It was as simple as that.
And his hard work finally paid off. (Y/c) expanded exponentially and your official net worth finally reached ¥1 Billion. You were officially recognized as a billionaire. Although, he suspected you've already been one for some time. Well, no matter, he was happy enough with the recent developments. The Shie Hassaikai grew with you and he finally managed to upgrade his facility for the production of the bullets. All was falling into place like it should be.
He finished his meeting just in time and entered the hideout's lounge to take a seat on the sofa across the TV, which was already running on the right channel and just as expected the talk show finally started. The host briefly announced today's guest and you entered, looking gorgeous as usual, especially when a charming smile graced your lips as you looked into the camera, a smile he knew was fake but captivated so many. You were almost a celebrity at this point and people couldn't enough of you; after all you were young, successful, pretty and smart, and many aspired to be like you.
You sat across the host to start the interview and everything about you seemed so natural and enticing. Your posture, facial expressions, voice and speech were perfect but he knew you long enough to know all of it was a pretense, the flat look in your eyes gave it away. There were several occasions when he witnessed your eyes light up when you were surprised, feeling competitive or determined. It was faint but it was there. Someone like you who mastered masking their feelings was hard to read but he decided that the more he observed you, the more he would understand you and be able to provide you with better service. Perhaps one day he would get to you to lower your guard around him and show genuine emotions.
It was absolutely fascinating how lovely you looked as you spouted out lies on national TV that everyone would believe, lies he had promised to cover up for you. No one would ever know the cruel things you have asked of him behind that pretty smile. He couldn't help but hold back a smile himself. This was quite amusing.
The host seemed utterly pleased by your speech and presence in general, announcing they would continue after a commercial break. That went really well so far, as expected of you. Maybe he should reward you just because he was feeling generous today and checked your schedule.
Just then did the advertisement get interrupted by breaking news, reporting that a group of heroes was killed on patrol and Honey Girl had been captured by the League of Villains who demanded a ransom of ¥200 million from (y/c) for her safe return. Those fools!
Just when he thought he had completely gotten your trust back, the League of Villains threatened to mess up his well-established partnership with you. What the hell did they need ¥200 million for anyway? He already gave them a share of what you paid the Shie Hassaikai for further support.
Before you would think he had anything to do with this silly scheme, he decided he needed to do some damage control and dialed Shigaraki's number.
"What do you want? I'm busy at the moment."
"Call the ransom off."
"Huh? Why? Don't tell me you feel sorry for this stupid hero who just waltzed into our hideout with her friends..."
Of course he knew the consequences would be dire if he revealed to them that he had a partnership with you but at the same time, he could use his connection to you to keep them in line. If more money would be involved, he might finally have them under his control rather than just sticking to a mutual partnership.
