Summary: In this ending, Reader will attempt to pit the Shie Hassaikai and the League of Villains against each other.
Warning: Mutilation, implied non-con
This is darkest chapter I've written so far. Please heed the warning!
You paced around your room, utterly furious about this whole situation. You were frustrated how you've just let Overhaul manipulate you into staying here and control nearly every aspect of your life. You've never felt this trapped and vulnerable before. It was a disgusting feeling.
There was nothing more you wanted than to get out of here, far away from the Shie Hassaikai. But how could you even escape from here? Even if you miraculously succeeded, where could you hide from them? The League of Villains? Hell no. Who was to say Shigaraki wouldn't hold you captive the same way? He already did so once. There was no way to be sure that the League of Villains wouldn't come after you too.
You stopped by the coffee table in your room, looking down at the Shogi board where you managed to capture most pawns from a previous match. What was the point of having all these pawns if they were uncontrollable? At this point, they were no longer your pawns, they have instead become obstacles.
It was a mistake getting involved and investing in these large villain groups. Now, you've helped them strengthen their numbers and resources, allowing them to do whatever they pleased. This was the price of your avarice. To add the cherry on top, they even formed a partnership and there wasn't really anyone you knew who could oppose their combined forces. The Shie Hassaikai had their quirk erasing bullets and the League of Villains had their Nomu, which would prove difficult for the heroes to deal with. And that was partially your fault.
But perhaps not everything was lost just yet. It was crystal clear that Shigaraki and Overhaul didn't exactly get along. Perhaps you could use that to your advantage. If you could only light a spark to ignite a war between the two organizations and have them destroy each other... that could permanently solve your and society's current problem.
You would start deleting your trail and any evidence that could potentially prove your connection to them and once they were too busy battling each other, you would make your escape in the ensuing chaos. And once the numbers were down on both sides, you could somehow anonymously alert the heroes to take care of the rest and hopefully also rescue Eri. To achieve that, you needed to bring the fight to the Shie Hassaikai's doorstep. It was a risky plan but you had nothing else. And there was no one you could trust, you had to set this up yourself.
League of Villain members Twice and Himiko Toga were here in the residence as well, but it was hard to make contact with them and took a lot of effort and patience to finally speak to them. As expected, they were not particularly happy about being part of the yakuza and it was easy to entice them with your plan of launching an attack on the Shie Hassaikai using Nomu, and they helped you get out of here for now to meet Shigaraki.
.
Overhaul's eyes remained trained on you in suspicion as you took a seat to work on your laptop. It couldn't be helped that you still felt disturbed after meeting Eri, but you were especially distracted today. He observed you long enough to know something was off.
It was more of a hunch but the truth was revealed when he checked his phone: the tracker implanted inside you showed you were far away from the Shie Hassaikai's residence. When and how did this happen? How did he not notice you slip away? And where did you go?
He walked behind the impostor, wary of the possibility this was Toga pretending to be you but as his hand destroyed your form, all that was left was mud. His hunch had been close enough. Shaking off the disgusting sludge off his fingers, he briskly made his way to the traitorous member he recruited and it didn't take him long to find him.
