Chrono and Nemu stood guard as you worked on your report regarding your device on your laptop but all the technical terms and graphs got them bored and they paced around your work room. It didn't take you long to create a report and compile your research data but you used this chance to discreetly search what you could find about the Shie Hassaikai and their leader. It was a common rule for you to know at least a little about your prospects.

Not much could be found on the internet save a few articles with not much relevant information, but thanks to your influence, you had connections to the police force and had access to some information in their database.

The Shie Hassaikai was currently only considered a small-time gang thanks to the ever diminishing yazuka influence in the underworld. Their current leader was a young man name Chisaki Kai, going by the villain name Overhaul, a class-B villain who wore a plague mask as well. The picture wasn't in great resolution so you didn't think much of it.

His quirk was quite something, however. His quirk was overhaul which gave him the ability to dissemble and reassemble any matter. Not exactly comforting to know so you'd have to be extra careful.

His profile noted that so far, all the police interactions with him had been uneventful and that he was surprisingly calm and polite, but he was known to be mysophobic and any physical contact would trigger his skin to break out into hives so physical contact was highly discouraged. Aside from that, there did not seem to be any unfortunate run ins with the police. He was on their watchlist but no actual crimes under his name.

From this you deduced that he was very good at covering his tracks, even more so considering he was a germaphobe. It was useful to know that you should probably avoid shaking his hand or to touch him in general, not that you were planning to anyway. But what worried you most is that it was stated that he could be "calm and polite". As a villain, he could fool the police into thinking he was a nice person. Was he manipulative? People who could fake their charm were the most dangerous ones, and you knew that first hand experience. You had to keep your guard up.

You nodded to yourself and decided not to make the Shie Hassaikai wait any longer.

"I'll change real quick then we can go." You nodded at the two. "Ada, please assist me with the report." You called your bot.

"At once, ma'am." She replied and headed for your office.

"You're bringing your robot with you?"

"Yes, or the time spent making my presentation will be for nothing."

You left for your room and browsed through your wardrobe. It was a common courtesy for you to dress nicely for your prospects and also because you've found out that it made negotiating so much easier when you looked pleasing in their eyes. Since your potential client was a germaphobe it was best to look clean. You picked out a neat-looking dress that was best suited for whenever you wanted to impress but not look desperate. After reapplying light make up, you decided it was finally time to face the music.

You met up with the two yakuza members and Ada.

"Everything is ready, ma'am."

"Good."

"If you think you can seduce our boss, you're solely mistaken. He can't stand close contact and he detests filth. " Nemu warned you and you shot him a glare.

"I give all my clients the same treatment of looking professional. And if your boss really hates filth then I suppose it's best I don't look like I've been running around the whole day."

"Let's go." Chrono lead the way, eager to get back to his boss.

The four of you made your way to the car and you drove straight to the Shie Hassaikai's residence.

It looked like a normal residence area, you thought to yourself as you entered through the gate and walked through traditional-looking hallways. Then suddenly Chrono stopped and moved a vase, revealing a hidden path.

It was dark and you followed Chrono closely, as you moved through the hallway, turning around every other corner. After several minutes, you got nervous as it seemed you had been walking for a great distance already.

After some more time, you could feel the confidence from earlier dissipate with every turn you took. This wasn't the first time you went to shady places and make crooked deals with villains but never had these places been so confusing. If things somehow went wrong, you would never find your way back.

"I estimate our survival rate has dropped by 35%."

"Ada!" You called her out for such an unnecessary calculation.

You had to walk some more and anxiety was eating you up and all you could hear was the sound of your heels echoing . You came with the goal of making a sale, now it felt like surviving would be a challenge in itself.

After what felt like an eternity, you finally made it as a pair of doors greeted your vision. All this walking just to meet someone who could obliterate you in the blink of an eye. You took a deep breath.

Chrono opened the door for you and you tried your best to mask your nerves failing you. Just remember everything you learned these past few years as a CEO.

Here goes nothing.
