Chapter 7 - Shocked

Aayesha's POV

"Ar.. Armaan?" I responded dumbly as I looked at him for a moment. I again laid my gaze upon that small little kids with light sticks in their hands. I still couldn't believe my eyes and suddenly I felt Armaan held my hand in his and clenched it tight.

"What's all that?" I asked, referring to the kids who were making a beautiful shape of 'I Love You' with those lights. It was indeed beautiful and flattering with the romantic atmosphere but those words...

"I love you Aayshu!" He expressed, peering directly in my eyes and I widened my eyes in shock. My chest was ups and downs and my breath got caught somewhere in my throat. I was palpitating unknowingly hearing those three words. I don't know how to react but for sure I didn't expect this.

"Ar.. Armaan. I.. You.." I shut my eyes for a moment when nothing came out of my mouth. I wanted to say so many but I was short of words. I don't know from where I should start. I don't know what to say so I chose just to keep quiet.

"Kuch kaho gi nahi?" He asked after some time when I didn't react and I raised my eyebrows in disbelief. Seriously? He can asked me that after throwing grenades to me?

"I.. I didn't expect this." I finally said and he smiled. He smiles?!

"I know this all must be really shocking for you but I'm also not forcing you Aayshu. I'm not asking for your reply now." He said as he looked at me and I gulped down. I sighed slightly and evenge his eyes.

"I don't know how and when I've been so crazy for your one single smile. Your smile and eyes keep following my ass like a shadow wherever I go! Uff I keep seeing it even I close my eyes." He told as he ran his hand through his hair and I looked at him blankly. But slowly a smile was playing on my lips when I saw he looked frustrated.

"I've fell for your damn eyes and smile!" He said as he kissed my eyelids. He shifted his lips to my right eye and rested it on my eyelid. I froze as my heart was throbbing inside, definitely didn't expect this! I don't know how to react when I felt my breath got caught somehwere in my throat on his act.

"I just wanted you to know my feelings. Nothing more than that." He added in again after he pulled out and took a step back, making my heart beat rate normal again. But still I could feel my cheeks turned hot and red.

"I like you're being open with me. Unlike some other guy." I started and took a deep breathe before I continued.

"Armaan.. I.. Look.. I like you. I like you so much! You've made me so damn happy today. I'm really thankful for whatever you did for me today. I am really happy. To be exact this is the day where I've been waiting for in my life." I trailed off as I sighed. He gave me a mother, a sister to play with and a father. He even made me live my life happily this whole day.

"But I don't trust in these kind of love. I mean how can you fall in love so sudden? That fast? That quick?" I blurted out my confusion and he laughed. I narrowed my eyes at him and he stop laughing, making me smile slightly.

"Love without a reason is the love Aayshu. If you have a reason to fall in love, then it's not love." He said and my eyebrows were lifted up itself.

"Hmm. Seems logic." I responded and he chuckled. To be honest, yeah I like him. But love and like are two way different things even at some point he made me fall for him today. He impressed me! But I can't conclude anything in this short time.

 "I hope this won't affect our friendship haan?" He asked, worried and I bite my inner cheek.

"Well.. I  can't assure you that." I replied, playfully and he rolled his eyes.
