Chapter 1 - Fooled

Aayesha's POV

I walked out from the mini mart and was about to get my car when suddenly I saw a car was speeding ahead. I shook my head. These people aren't gonna change!

I sighed and took my car keys from my jeans pocket. I looked up and that was when I saw a guy was walking on the direction of that car. He wasn't realizing it as he was looking something at his hand. I widened my eyes in horror as the car was coming closer towards him.

"Shit!" I murmured and quickly ran towards the guy.

I hurriedly pulled him into me and that was when that car past us. I closed my eyes and breathe a sigh of relief. That was close enough though! My inner voice sighed.

I opened my eyes after a moment and realized I was hugging that guy. His body stiffened under my touch. I gulped down as I felt heat was emitting my cheeks and I quickly broke the hug.

I looked up at him and I froze for a moment. MashaAllah! He is so handsome! I observed his face clearly. He has the very perfect structure. Thick eyebrows, dark brown eyes, sharp nose and pink lips which gave a s sign that he is not a smoker. I was lost in examined his face when I got my senses back when my eyes met his. I gulped down my embarrassement when I saw he raised his eyebrows looking at me.

"Are you blind? Or are you deaf? Can't you see or hear anything? Don't you know the rules in crossing the roads? Don't you know you can't walk on the roads?" I yelled at his face. I was getting furious with this guy. If I was late a minute, he would have lost his life. He would have been dead!

He blinked his eyes blankly. He looked surprised and shocked. Maybe he wasn't expecting me to yell at him. Maybe he wasn't expecting me to react like this.

"Uhm.. I'm sorry. I was looking for..." He was about to say something but I cut him off.

"Whatever it is, just be careful next time. You are lucky this time because I was near you." I said as I sighed. He smiled and nodded. I was gawking at him when he smiled. He has the perfect smile I can say.

"Yeah I will. Thank you for saving my life." He said as he smiled at me, breaking me out of my thoughts. I nodded as I was feeling calm. I was about to leave when I heard his voice again.

"Uhm excuse me." He called me, making me halted on my tracks. I turned to look at him. I raised my eyebrows, signalling him to continue.

"Uhm.. Can you tell me where this address is?" He asked as he showed me a card.

"Yeah." I replied as I took the card from him. I widened my eyes seeing the address. Gosh he is standing at the back of it!

"You look like you belongs here. And you don't know where this address is?" I asked him in dissbelief. He looked like he belongs to New York.

"Uhm. Yeah I've stayed here for years but I'm not familiar with this street. This is my first time coming to this street." He explained me with frown eyebrows.

I raised my eyebrows looking at him. I bite my lower lips, hiding my amusement. Since he didn't realize where he is now, let me play a game.

"Uhm this address is not in this street. It's in the other street." I said while handed him the card back. I straightened my face expressions, acting like I'm serious when he furrowed his eyebrows.

"What? But it was written there 12 Street. This is the 12 Street na?" He asked in doubt.

"Areyy baba. No. This is 14 Street. You walk straight and turn left. The second street is the one you are looking for." I told him as I pointed him the road.
