Aayesha's POV
I peeled my lips as my mind travelled to what has happened yesterday. His mother came to my house and brought a his hand for me. And I wasn't able to say anything. I was too shocked to even react after hearing about him from his mother.
He loves me that much?
"But what about me?" Escaped my lips unknowingly as my eyes pooled up. I'm such in dilemma!
A sudden bell rang shook me out of my chain of thought and I glanced at the main door. I sighed as I shut my eyes, washing the inescapable tears away before I lazily got off the couch and approached the door.
I opened the door to reveal Madeeha was standing there with her usual bright and beautiful smile and slowly a smile crept onto my lips upon noticing her.
"Assalamualaikum!!!" She chirped happily before she clung onto me and I chuckled, wrapping my arms around her back.
"Waalaikumsalam!" I replied in smile before we pulled out.
"Welcome in! Assume this is your own house too!" She said all coolly as she walked in, leaving me startled at the doorway before she turned around and giggled looking at me. She pulled my wrist with her and dragged me in too.
"Just kidding! I felt like it has been ages since I met you! So that's why I invited myself here." She made a disapproving face and I chuckled, shaking my head.
"Sorry! I'm in such a mess to even call you." I sighed and she furrowed at me.
"Uh?" She responded and I shook my head.
"Nothing. Just sit! I'll make something for you. Had your lunch already?" I asked and she shook her head making that innocent face, telling that she hadn't. I giggled as I smacked her head.
"Even I haven't. Give me 15 minutes. I'll cook something for us." I said and I left her for the kitchen.
I took out the meats, vegetables and few more wet things I bought from the supermarket and put them on the slab.
I brought the vegetables to the basin and started cleaning them when I heard her voice near me.
"Aayesha." She took my name and I turned around to find she already jumped and sat on the slab not far from me.
"Hmm." I responded as I brought the vegetables and handed her.
"Cut them for me." I ordered and she rolled her eyes in dissatisfaction.
"Lehh. I think it's better for me to wait for you at the hall." She sighed and I chuckled on her response before she lazily jumped off the slab and approached the dining table. She took a seat there and starting cutting them.
I took the chicken meat with me and put them in a bowl before I poured some salt in it and washed them.
"Aayesha." She called me again and I sighed, turning towards her.
"Kia hai?" I questioned irritatingly before I took the meat with me and walked to the nearest slab where all my herbs and spices were placed in the upper cabinet.
"Are you okay?" She asked and I could feel her gaze was upon me and I unknowingly halted my hand mid air before I slowly ran my eyeballs on her.
"Uh?" I responded in confuse and she let a heavy breath out and I furrowed looking at her.
