Atif's POV (Finally LOOL xD)
I stepped in the souvenir shop and walked ahead, while eyes were roaming around the shop. It has various types and designs of souvenir, may it be traditional, antique or modern, all were beautiful.
I walked to the wooden shelf where beautiful shawls were hung on it. My gaze were shifted to one shawl to the other. I bite my lower lip when my eyes caught a sight of dark brown shawl, looking too damn beautiful.
I smiled and raised my hand to take it when another hand slipped in mine. I widened my eyes in shock when our hands were clutching the shawl and I turned my head to look at the owner.
My heart skipped a beat upon looking at her and she slowly trailed her eyes to mine. She looked Desi and beautiful. I saw she gulped down before she quickly took her soft hand off mine.
"Uhm...sorry." She quickly apologized and my heart skipped a beat upon hearing her voice.
"No! It's okay. You...take this." I smiled as I handed her the shawl and she looked at me hesitantly before she laid her gaze upon the shawl.
"Aap lelijiye. I'll look for something else." I said, again handing her the shawl and this time she looked shocked. I furrowed my eyebrows. Deaf and dumb?
"What happened? You understand me right?" I waved my hand in front of her and she for once chuckled, shaking her head and I don't know why I smiled at her act.
"No. I'm just...surprised." She said, chuckling and I furrowed.
"Surprised? Why?" I asked in confuse and she smiled.
"I thought you're not Desi." She told, scrunching her nose, looking too adorably cute.
"Hain?? You're the first to say that." I said, shocked and she laughed.
"Sorry though! I stayed here for almost three days already and wherever I turn my head to, I just see whites. And the difficulties to understand their language, uff mat poocho! I sometimes feel like, I'll forget my English." She started talking and that too in speed mode. I was literally dumfounded looking at her, the way she talks.
"Ohh. So you're a tourist?" I asked, chuckling and she rolled her eyes.
"If I'm not a tourist, what am I doing in a souvenir shop?" She replied in a duh tone and I mentally slapped my head. Idiot you Ati!
"Yeah right." I said, smiling over my stupidity as I looked down.
"Uhm...if you don't mind. Opps sorry...not mind. But you were about to give me that shawl right? So can I have it now?" She asked, grinning widely and I laughed looking at her.
"Opps! Yeah sure!" I handed her the shawl and she took it happily.
"Thank you!" She winked and I chuckled, shaking my head.
"No problem. By the way, where are you staying?" I asked and she narrowed her eyes at me. I furrowed for a moment upon seeing her reaction before I widened my eyes, got it.
"Ehhh. I mean...main aise hi pooch raha thi." I quickly corrected myself and she laughed.
"Ohoo. Don't worry man! I was just playing around." She winked and I breathe a sigh of relief.
"I'm staying at the hotel across this street." She said with a smile and I widened my eyes looking at her.
"Heyy! I stay at that hotel too!" I said cheerfully and she giggled.
"Toh main kia karoon? Dinner peh bulaaoun aapko?" She replied sarcastically as she laughed and I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Chill man! I was just joking!" She replied with a smile and I sighed as I shook my head and right then her phone rang and she instantly picked it up.
