I'm sorry. :'(

*********

Aayesha's POV

"Shehryaar?" Escaped my mouth in a hollow whisper as my legs became jelly and I couldn't believe my eyes.

My vision got blurred and within a second, tears flew down my waterline as I looked ahead me; Shehryaar was with Hafsa in our room or to be exact, on our bed almost hovering her as his eyes were glued in hers and with that smile on his lips, I felt my heart shattered at the sight.

He...He's betraying me?

I couldn't even feel myself at the moment as I stared at them when Hafsa was tangling his hair with her fingers. I was almost fell over my knees as every vein of mine became so flaccid and I hurriedly held the knob, saving myself from kissing the cold marble floor.

Upon hearing the noise, they both hurriedly turned in my direction and I could see their faces were dropped down and they quickly broke apart, getting off the bed. I forcefully stood straight as I composed myself and raised my shivering hand to wipe my tears away.

Mugging myself real bad, I slowly moved my feet forward and my eyes moistened again as I neared them. I bit my lower lip, trying not to whimper as I could feel my soul was literally deprived, dead when I stopped in front of Shehryaar.

I need to know is he really betraying me? I have always made up my mind without listening to him and resulted problems in our life but this time I don't want to repeat the same mistake. I want to listen to him...I want an explanation.

I parted my parched lips to speak but then nothing came out from my throat except tears. I felt as if someone has snatched away my voice and all my sense and all I could do was just staring at both of them, motionlessly with my blurry eyes. It pained me like anything when I saw Shehryaar's emotionless face looking at me that shivered me deep down.

Speak up Aayesha!!

"Aayesha!! Aayesha it's not as what you're thinking!" Hafsa hurriedly said as she took a step forward and held my hand.

I laid my gaze on her who was nodding her head firmly as if she meant all her words and I blinked at her before I slowly shifted my gaze on Shehryaar. My heart ponded wild and I felt a sharp blade pricked my heart when I looked at him. It pained me like anything when I saw Shehryaar's emotionless face looking at me that shivered me deep down.

He didn't feel guilty at all? He didn't want to try defend himself or at least give me an explanation as he always do?

"Aayesha look at me! Trust me, we didn't d..." Hafsa's words got lost in her throat when Shehryaar suddenly cut her through.

"Hafsa..." He called her name softly as he took a step ahead and held Hafsa's wrist, pulling her off me and I gulped down as I trailed my eyes down at their hands which Shehryaar didn't bother to leave. A tear eluded my eyelid as I slowly looked up at him as he opened his mouth.

"What are you even doing babe?" He furrowed hard at her as dissatisfaction was clearly evident from his expression and I furrowed slightly looking at him.

"She already saw us...so what now? Why are you afraid of?" He raised his eyebrows at her, completely ignored me in front of him when he intertwined their fingers and brought it to his lips before he kissed her fingers passionately while shutting his eyes.

I felt thunder in me upon hearing him made me stumble back a little in utmost shock and confusion and I almost didn't believe my eardrums as I looked at his face closely but I couldn't find any single guilt in it.
