Fayyad's POV
Three years later...
"Mama!!" I yelled from on top of my lungs while shutting my eyes, frustrated when I couldn't find my things.
"Mom!!" I yelled again when I received no response and opened my eyelids before I turned around to walk out of my room when I saw Mama entered my room rushingly.
"Aik toh Mama bulaao ya Mom. Don't call me both! Whenever I go out and hear kids call Mama or Mom, I get confused and instead of their mothers turn around...I answer the call." She huffed, rolling her eyes and I chuckled, stepping towards her.
"What's the difference Mom? Both means mother...and I love mothers, especially mine." I pulled her cheeks and she hissed, removing my hands from her cheeks and a moment later a smile was seen on her lips as she looked at my face.
"Why were you calling me just now?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at me made me huff aloud then.
"Where's my stethoscope and sling bag?" I asked seriously as I glanced at my wrist watch which indicated almost 9.30AM before I laid my gaze on her again and she furrowed at me.
"How do I know?" She responded, shrugging at me and I widened my eyes in shock looking at her.
"Mama! What do you mean?? I'm already late now!" I scoffed, scratching my non-itchy hair as I walked to the couch in my room and pulled out all the cushions from it but still couldn't find it.
"Uff everything is upside down when Aayesha is not here!" I snuffled as I walked to the bed and bent down to pull the quilt away.
"Tumhaara beta hai na...uss hi se poocho." Mama suddenly said and I could sense mischievous in her tone, made me halt right on my tracks as I blinked my eyes.
"Don't tell me..." I shot a look at her as I shook my head continuously and she giggled, shrugging made my eyes widen in horror.
He have once broke my stethoscope and scribble something on my important file made me take two days off to get my things ready and today...
"Mama!! You should tell me earlier!" I retorted as I hurriedly ran out of my room and headed straight to my little devil's room.
I gulped down as I stopped in front of his room, rolling my lips inwards before I slowly raised my hand and opened the door. The door was slightly parted and I peeked in, searching for him but I couldn't find him anywhere made me furrow as I opened the door wide and stepped in.
"Armaan?" I called as I roamed my eyes around the room and it stopped when I finally found his dwarf-size body; shirtless and was jumping, trying to get something from the cupboard and instantly a smile was played on my lips sighting him.
"Armaan.." I sighed as I stopped beside him and knelt down made him turn to look at me and I felt chills running through my limbs; the feelings were beautiful and hard to describe in words.
"What are you doing? And...where's your shirt? You'll be catching cold boy!" I said, holding his arms and he blinked his big black eyes innocently at me.
"I'm tlying (trying) to get that." He said, looking up as he pointed his cupboard and I shifted my gaze as well and smiled.
"I'll get it for you." I replied as I stood up and took a shirt from the cupboard before I turned towards him again.
"Come here." I said as I knelt down in front of him again, pulling him close to me to make him wear the shirt but he pouted as he shook his head.
"I don't want this shirt, Dad." He said, making a disgusting face at the shirt in my hands and I furrowed as I looked down at it.
