Shehryaar's POV

"Shehryaar!!!"

She yelled as she hurriedly ran towards me and pushed me forcefully. I was thrown to the roadside but still my eyes never left her. I felt every single thing around me stopped moving and became blur. Everything became oblivious to me and quiet. So quiet and silent that I could hear my heart beats. All I could see was just...her.

My heart was beating faster inside like never before but don't know why, I felt it wasn't alive. I wasn't alive. Something sharp stabbed my heart and it pained me like hell. My eyes were wet but not a single tear eluded from my eyelids.

The incident rewinded in my mind once again in a slow motion, replaying Aayesha's accident. Her head was knocked on the car bumper hardly and she was thrown on the road before her head was once again banged on the road and her body was dragged few metres away from me on the rough paved road, revealing thick liquid along the path.

I was senseless as my eyes dropped on the dark thick liquid on the road. It was...blood, her blood. I felt stone in my throat which made me hard to breathe. I half opened my mouth in search for oxygen as I inhaled deeply for few times before I gravely trailed my eyes along the blood path and finally met her motionless body...lying deadly on the road.

What I could do was just...sat emotionless on the road, staring at her from afar. Eventhough we were just few metres apart, but I still could see her gaze was on me. I just couldn't absorb what happened few minutes ago. Just exactly few minutes ago...I was talking with her. She was angry on me. But now...

I'm still...shocked to even react.

I felt few cold droplets on my body and I shivered visibly, indirectly shook me out and brought me to reality. I looked up and saw rain drops fell on my face and I blinked few times before I hung my face down again.

I slowly stood up and took few heavy steps, approaching her. I gulped down the lump in my throat as I stopped right in front of her and my legs became jelly. I, unknowingly fell over my knees in front of her as I observed her. Half of her face was soaked in blood while her upper shirt was drenched in blood too.

I harshly wiped my face as rain drops made it hard for me to see her and I quickly held her face and placed it on my lap. A tear finally flickered down my cheek when my eyes met hers. A tear escaped from the corner of her eye and my heart stopped beating when her eyes fluttered shut slowly.

"Aay...Aayshu?" Escaped my mouth faintly in a complete whisper as I cautiously touched her face, her cheek with my shivering hand but she didn't move at all.

"Aayesha..." I called as I shook her body but she just stayed put. My vision became blurred as my heart beat rate shot up immensely in fear, fear of losing her.

"Aa...Aayshu. Lo..look at me." I said as I cupped her both cheeks in my hands and shook it slightly.

"Aayshu!!" I yelled her name aloud as I patted her cheeks with widened eyes in horror looking at her motionless and dead face and few more tears escaped my eyes unknowingly.

She opened her eyes widely at once as she inhaled deeply, her chest was up and she grabbed my hand absentmindedly on her stomach before she drooped on my lap again. My vision became blurry all at once again and I hurriedly blinked it, made a fresh new pair of tears fell on her cheek and I looked down at our hands.
