Aayesha's POV

"Qubool hai!"

I accepted him eventhough I had a slight confusion in me for him...

I fisted my Lahenga as I uttered those two words which I've been dying for all my life. My heart was pounding so damn hard, probably at the maximum speed as those two words slipped my mouth. I felt restless for a second when I felt his gaze was fixed upon me. I felt he could see me eventhough we had a barrier in between us and I lowered down my gaze, eventually made my ghoonghat hid half of my face.

"Qubool hai!"

I accepted him eventhough I was still unsure about my feelings for him...

I gulped down the lump in my throat as I felt something hitched in me. I rolled my lips in between my teeth as I felt nauseous, nervous, fear, panic, stress, queasy and I don't even know what more. I could feel people's gaze were literally on me all the time. Sweats started to form on my forehead before I could even complete this ceremony.

"Qubool hai!"

I accepted him eventhough I was still scared of my future...our future.

My eyes got moistened when people started congratulating each other as soon as those two magical words escaped my lips for the third and final time. I fisted my Lahenga real tight in my hands as I slowly raised my gaze and saw the barrier in between us was being removed and within a second I could see him, looking handsome as ever in his Sherwaani.

My vision turned blur when I saw all of his family members were with him in this auspicious day and the very big day of our life except my parents. I was literally standing alone welcoming my new life ahead me.

Maa, Baba....

Why did you leave me here...alone?! Aapko pata hai na aaj...aaj mera Nikaah hai? Main akeli hoon yahaan. I need you by m...my side today. You should have at least st...stopped for me.

I want you two with me on my day...hug me, smile with me, wish me, give me blessings, give me advises, give my hand to...Shehryaar.

A tear finally eluded my waterline unknowingly and fell on my red mehendi-fied hands before I shut my eyes real tight as I inhaled deeply. I gulped down, calming myself when something popped in my head.

"Aayesha...Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Smile...you can feel their presence around you."

I did as he told me not long ago and I could literally smell the presence of something good, something beautiful around me for the second time. Something in me really felt relaxed and nice. A part of me felt soothed for a while till I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Aayesha." I heard a soft voice and I slowly opened my eyes to find Madeeha was smiling looking at me. She wiped my tears though she herself was the verge of crying and this made me feel like crying even more. She shook her head before she threw her arms around my neck and I hurriedly wrapped my hands around her back.

"Happy married life my jaan! May Allah bless you with all the happiness in the world!" She spoke over my shoulder and I tightened my grip around her.

I'm...I'm married.

This word was somewhat hard to absorb but at the same time it brought some new and good feelings in me. I took in deep breath before I release them slowly and we pulled out. She cupped my cheeks and brought it close to her before she kissed my head.

"I pray that this new life of yours, brings you lots of happiness and only happiness. Always remember that whenever you need someone, you have me." She said firmly nodding her head and I let a chuckle escaped my mouth as a tear rolled down my waterline.
