A Week Later,
It was finally the day when I was going to the station. I was a bit nervous but excited at the same time. My father had bewitched the trunks to float behind us as mother walked beside me. Then I saw a vintage steam train.
"Goodbye, my little witch. I'm sure you'll do best and don't forget to write to us." My father said and hugged me. Mother kissed me on the cheek.
I waved at them as I got in the train and started to find a carriage. As I walked beside one, someone called me from behind.
"Hey, we have room for more if you want to come." I turned around and saw a red headed boy and a raven haired boy with round glasses on. I promptly knew who they were.
"Oh, sure thanks." I said and went over to sit with them.
"Hello, I'm Ron Weasley."
"And I'm Harry Potter."
"I know who you both are. Nice to meet you. And lucky me I've got acquainted with you, Harry Potter. I'm Y/N Knight."
"Blimey! You're a Knight?" Ron asked bemused.
"Yes." I nodded proudly.
Harry looked confused. Then Ron turned to him and started to explain.
"They're the richest and most powerful family in the wizarding world. The Knight generation has always been one of a kind. Full of surprises. I heard their ancestors were born with powers of their own and didn't need a wand at all to do magic." Ron elaborated. It was my turn to look amused.
"I'm sorry, but I didn't know that. And how did you know?" I asked.
"Didn't your mother or father tell you? You're quite the celebrity like Harry here."
"Can I see the scar?" I asked politely. He pushed back his hair with his hand, revealing his lightning bolt scar. "Woah, that's so cool."
"And I heard about you too, Ron. You're a family of nine, right?"
"Yes." He replied.
"You guys sound fun. I hope one day I'll get to meet all your siblings." I said, my voice laced with hope.
"Sure, of course. I usually don't get the same reaction as you." Ron said with a rather interesting expression.
"Why's that?" I cocked my head to the side.
"They make fun of me because we're poor." He replied, embarrassed.
"I'm really sorry. And don't listen to them. Just ignore them. People say whatever they want and that doesn't mean it's relevant."
"Thank you very much."
"No biggie." I smiled.
A girl with bushy hair approached our carriage looking for someone's toad.
"Has anyone seen Trevor?" She asked, her eyes traveling from Ron to Harry, then to me.
I shook my head, as did Ron and Harry.
"May I sit down here?" She asked politely.
"Sure." I said as she took her seat across from Harry.
"I'm Hermione Granger. Pleasure to meet you."
As we introduced ourselves, I came to know she was a Muggle born, which was fascinating for me. We talked and were getting to know each other. After some moments, the trolley witch knocked on our carriage.
"Anything from the trolley, dears?"
"Yes, I'll take one of everything, please."
A pair of red haired twins approached the trolley.
