3rd Year

It was only a day until we were going back to Hogwarts to start our third year. Many things had happened before that. Professor Quirrell got exposed for working for Voldemort in our first year. Then, Harry almost got killed in the Chamber of Secrets in our second year.

But the danger did not stop the good times from coming. I had met all the Weasleys, and they quickly became my favorite family to visit. I also became their favorite guest, though they treated me, Harry, and Hermione more like actual family. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley insisted that I come to the Leaky Cauldron before we took off for school.

George did not stop his flirting and showing signs that he liked me. Well, he did it a bit too much. I would just laugh it off or blush like crazy while Fred snickered behind us. Little did George know that I also liked him. I would give him sweet smiles when we met or talked. I also made sure Fred was with us most of the time because I did not want him to feel left out. He literally acted as our matchmaker. Molly knew that her son liked me. Every time she noticed George trying to flirt with me, she would have a smirk plastered on her face, which always embarrassed me.

I took off for the Leaky Cauldron after I bid farewell to my parents. When I arrived, I saw Hermione was already there. She was arguing with Ron about Crookshanks trying to eat his pet rat, Scabbers. They saw me and immediately rushed toward me to hug me.

"Look, Y/N's here." Hermione squealed. She ran toward me and hugged me tightly, and I happily reciprocated.

"Hermione!" I squealed.

"Y/N! It's so nice to see you." Ron said while hugging me next.

"You too, Ron. How are you?" I asked.

"With George not being able to stop talking about you, and with my other annoying siblings? Yeah, pretty good." He said. I elbowed him lightly in the ribs.

"Ow!"

Hermione and I started to giggle. Then, we saw Harry walk in. We immediately hugged him, almost squishing him completely.

We all missed each other very much. Yeah, we did write letters to one another over the summer, but finally meeting again in person was very nice.

"How was your trip, Ron?" I asked as we all took our seats.

"Yeah, how was Egypt? What's it like?" Harry asked.

"Brilliant. Loads of old stuff... like mummies, tombs. Even Scabbers enjoyed himself."

"You know the Egyptians used to worship cats?" Hermione remarked.

"Along with the dung beetle." Ron countered.

"Not flashing that clipping again, are you, Ron?" Fred and George both came walking down the stairs as they snatched the newspaper picture from his hands.

"I haven't shown anyone." Ron protested.

"No, not a soul." George mocked.

"Not unless you count Tom." Fred said.

"The day maid." George added.

"The night maid."

"The cook."

"The bloke who fixed the toilet."

"And that wizard from Belgium." They both finished each other's sentences.

"Hey, Freddie." I said, successfully grabbing his attention. He looked over at me. His face immediately lit up, and he nudged George hard.

"What, Fred?" George asked, sounding annoyed.
