It was utter madness. Ever-Bashing Boomerangs whipped through the air, Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start No-Heat fireworks spitted sparks, and Nose-Biting Teacups bared tiny porcelain teeth.
Fred and George stood upon a counter, selling to the masses.
"Step up! Step up!" They both shouted.
"We've got Fainting Fancy." George started.
"Nosebleed Nougats." Fred added.
"And just in time for school."
"Puking Pastilles!"
I saw a Boy taking one and stopped chewing, and turned literally pale green.
"Into the cauldron, handsome." They said in unison handing him a cauldron.
They launched a sloshing cauldron down the counter, dropped down on either side of Harry who was next to me, and began to steer him through the store.
"What'd you think, Harry?" Fred asked as George who was beside me, put his hand on my waist.
"Hello, beautiful." He whispered and I immedietely turned red.
"Hey." I chocked out. He was looking ridiculously handsome.
"Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder?" Harry asked and picked the product, scanning it.
I went to a display of 'Wonder Witch Love Potions' and saw Hermione and Ginny there. I picked one pink bottle as the twins approached us.
"Hello, ladies!" George dropped one of the lumps in Harry's hand, and turned to Ginny Hermione and me. "Yes, they do really work."
"Then again, the way we hear it, sis, you're doing just fine on your own." Fred added.
The corner of my lips turned up and I raised my eyebrows at Ginny who awkwardly glanced at me.
"Meaning?"
"Are you not currently dating Dean Thomas?" Fred asked.
Harry pretended to consider a rack of 'Ten-Second Pimple Vanisher', but secretly eavesdropped which I noticed.
"None of your business." She said as she moved away from us.
"These are adorable." I said as I looked inside a cage, small rounded Ball of Fluff rolled about and squeeked.
"Aren't they now. Pygmy Puffs. Can't breed them fast enough." Fred said.
"This shop is amazing. I'd buy each of everything truly but I'm not going home for a while so I have to wait." I said looking around as the twins glanced at each other.
"Don't bother love. You're exceptional." George winked as I jokingly frowned.
"I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that." I said as they laughed. "Besides, I actually wanna help you guys in taking care of this shop. It'll be lovely to spend some time here with you two."
"Of course bestie. You're the manager." Fred said.
I stared at him as he stared back.
"Are you having a staring contest?" George snapped his fingers.
"Did I hear him right?" I asked.
"Yes." They replied in unsion.
"YEEEEE! Thank you both!" I squeeled and hugged both of them.
I excitedly walked my way to Ron and just then I saw Cormac McLaggen passed behind Hermione and with his eyes, took the full measures of Hermione. I made a sour face at him and saw her noticing then turned and received a faint smile as he moved on. Then I stood on a stair behind Ron as we both examined a tiny wooden man which ascended a tiny gallows and dropped.
"How much for this?" Ron asked as George rode a rolling ladder and dropped next to Fred.
"Five Galleons."
"How much for me?"
"Five Galleons."
"But I'm your brother!"
"Ten Galleons."
I giggled as Ron pulled me with him.
"C'mon. Let's go."
"Give me that." I said through my smile and he handed me the box. "It's on me."
Suddenly, Ron snatched it from me.
"What?" I asked perplexed.
"Don't Y/N. You've already done that before."
"Ron, please. It's nothing. I only do that because you guys are my favourite people. Besides, you're looking at the manager of this shop. Chosen by your brothers." I flipped my hair proudly as Ron rolled his eyes playfully.
"Of course. You're my favourite filthy rich friend too." He joked and received a smack on the arm from me. I payed and handed it to him.
"Thanks."
"Keep that a little quiet." I whispered. "Didn't buy anything for the others."
We both grinned and went to Harry and Hermione. We four headed for the door and exited.
