After a few minutes of going back to our camp, we saw Hermione coming out of the tent. She immediately leaped forward to hug me which I reciprocated.

"How are you? Are you okay?" Hermione asked with concern.

"More than fine actually." I replied then turned to Ron making her follow my gaze.

Ron stood there with a cheeky smile on his face. He held up his hand and dangled the broken locket and showed it to her.

"Hey." Ron said, happiness lacing in his voice.

Hermione stared at him for a moment then flung herself forward and marched over to him. She grabbed a fistful of leaves from the ground and threw it on his face. His face went from happiness to complete disbelief. She took of his backpack from his shoulder and hit him with it. Her face was scowling. Harry and I shared a look then turned back to them.

"You complete arse, Ronald Weasley!" She yelled. "You show up here after weeks, and you say 'Hey'?"

She turned back and glared at Harry.

"Where's is my wand, Harry?" Hermione asked. "Harry potter, give me my wand!"

"Hermione calm down. Leave poor Ron alone. Forgive him." I said trying not to break into laughter.

"Forgive him?!" She yelled in fury.

"How come he had your wand?" Ron asked.

"Nevermind why he has my wand!" Hermione snapped harshly then stared at the destroyed locket. "You destroyed it? And how come is it that you just happen to have the sword of Gryffindor?"

"It's a long story." Harry called from behind.

"Don't think that this changes anything." Hermione shook her head angrily at Ron.

She started to storm back towards the tent but was stopped by mid movement by Ron.

"Of course not." Ron spoke up. "I only helped destroy a bloody Horcrux. Why would that change anything? Look, I wanted to come as soon as I left. We just didn't know how to find you. Go ahead, ask Y/N."

"How did you find us then?" Harry asked.

"First we apparated to her house." Ron pointed at me. "Hoping we might find some clue to get back to you but the ground had been covered in ice."

"That's when it became a real challenge." I added.

"The thing that Dumbledore gave me. It didn't just turn off lights. I don't know how it works, but when we returned to the woods to find the tent had gone, I felt like we had failed. But then I heard it." Ron paused. "A voice. Your voice Hermione."

"That was her voice you were hearing? But why couldn't I hear it?" I asked as he shrugged.

"And what exactly did I say, may I ask?" Hermione asked, still angry at Ron.

"My name. Just my name. Like a whisper. So I took it and I clicked it and this tiny ball of light appeared. And sure enough, It floated towards me, the ball of light went right to my chest and straight through me." Ron explained.

Hermione looked at me in approval as I looked down and nodded. Everyone looked at each other in silence. Hermione still turned to her feet, grabbing my hand and walked inside the tent. After speaking for what felt like hours about what we did when we left, Hermione informed something.

"I want to go see Xenophilius Lovegood." She turned to me.

"What?" I asked, my expression perplexed.

Hermione took out a book and flicked through some pages as I waited. She finally opened a page with Dumbledore's signature on it with a symbol.
