After Harry came back from the Ministry, we left for Hogwarts. We pushed our trolley and go in the Train. We found a carriage, I sat beside between by the window. Next to me was George. Ron, Harry and Hermione sat across us.

The whole ride was silent and wasn't so interesting. I put my head on George's shoulder, taking him by surprise. He tensed at first but relaxed after a moment.

After we arrived, Fred and George parted from us. We were walking down the road to our carriages and that's when I heard Malfoy and his goons walking behind us. They speeded beside us and started bullying Harry.

"I'm surprised the Ministry's still letting you walk around free. Better enjoy it while you can. I expect there's a cell in Azkaban with your name on it." Draco commented past.

"Just stay away from me!" Harry tried to lunge at him but was grabbed my Ron making Draco flinch and step back in defence.

"You can't just shove off. Can you?" Anger was rising up in me.

"I didn't say anything to you blood traitor." He spat at me.

I put my free hands behind me, so they wouldn't see anything and flicked my hand taking Crabbe physical body in control and made him hit Draco's head.

"What the hell was that you blithering fool?!" Draco yelled.

"I didn't do it. It was her." Crabbe pointed at me.

I moved my hand again and this time talking control of Draco, I made him hit Crabbe's head. They started hitting each other violently. We all bursted into laughs then walked away from the scene.

"That was brilliant, Y/N." Harry complimented.

"Never seen something this cool". Ron chuckled.

"It was hilarious." Hermione added.

"Thanks." I laughed.

"Hi, guys." Neville appeared.

"Hey, Neville." I greeted.

"What is it?" Harry asked.

"What's what?" I looked at him.

"That. Pulling the carriage." He said.

"Nothing's pulling the carriage, Harry. It's pulling itself, like always." Hermione said.

"You're not going mad. I can't see them but I know what they are. They're called thestrals. Only the one's who've seen death can only see them. My parents told me about them. They're mostly misunderstood animals like Buckbeak." I explained as we approached on an empty carriage with only one person.

"I can see them too. You're just as sane as I am."

"Everyone, this is Loony Love-" Hermione stopped and we fell into an awkward silence. "Luna Lovegood."

"What an interesting necklace." I said breaking the awkward silence.

"It's a charm, actually. Keeps away the Nargles. Hungry. I hope there's pudding." She said in her awfully beautiful voice.

"What's a Nargle?" Harry asked.

"No idea." Hermione replied.

At the Great Hall

"Good evening, children. Now, we have two changes in staffing this year. We're pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank... who'll be taking Care of Magical Creatures... while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We also wish to welcome our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher... Professor Dolores Umbridge. And I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the professor good luck. Now, as usual, our caretaker, Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you... she was at my hearing. She works for Fudge."

Dumbledore announced but then we saw a lady dressed in all pink came forward interrupting him.

"Thank you, Headmaster, for those kind words of welcome. And how lovely to see all your bright happy faces smiling up at me. I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends." She said in her disturbingly fake tone.

"The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. Although each headmaster has brought something new to this historic school progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved... perfect what can be perfected and prune practices that ought to be prohibited."

"Thank you, Professor Umbridge." Dumbledore awkwardly said as I noticed McGonagall glaring at her.

Next day te Gryffindors and Slytherins were together in class.

"Good morning, children. Ordinary Wizarding Level examinations. More commonly known as OWLs. Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so, and the consequences may be severe. Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven. But you'll be pleased to know, from now on... you will be following a carefully structured, Ministry-approved... course of defensive magic. Yes?" She said as we all stared at her.

"There's nothing in here about using defensive spells?" I asked her.

"Using spells?" She asked with her fake sweet tone. "Well, I can't imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom."

"We're not gonna use magic?" Harry asked and the class erupted in whisper.

"You'll be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way."

"What use is that? If we're attacked, it won't be risk-free." Harry asked.

"Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class. It is the view of the Ministry that a theoretical knowledge will be sufficient... to get you through your examinations... which, after all, is what school is all about."

"And how's theory supposed to prepare us for what's out there?" I asked her raising my voice. I was starting get pissed.

"There is nothing out there, dear. Who do you imagine wants to attack children like yourself?"

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe Lord Voldemort." Harry sassed making some students flinch at the name.

"Now, let me make this quite plain. You have been told that a certain Dark Wizard is at large once again. This is a lie."

"It's not a lie. Harry saw him. He fought him." I shouted.

"Detention, Miss Knight and Mr. Potter."

"Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord?" Harry asked.

"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident." She said trying to sound sad.

"No! It was murder. Voldemort killed him." I shouted at her clearly burning with rage.

"Enough! Enough! See me later, you both. My office."

"You wish. I'll not be attending your classes anymore accept for the tests." I spat.

"You really are a spoiled child, aren't you, Miss Knight? I know who your parents are." She said with her usual disturbing evil smile dancing on her lips.

"Oh, you think? Then I reckon I'm making them proud." I sassed then stormed off the class.
