We emerged from the water to the top. Grasping for air, we tried to shake off the coldness from our lungs. We began to swim towards the shore. Hermione got out of the water after the rest of us.
"He knows. You-Know-Who." Harry chocked out his words. "He knows we broke into Gringotts. He knows what we took and he knows we're hunting Horcruxes."
"How is it that you know?" I asked.
"I saw him." He replied.
"How could you let him inside your head?" I asked, shocked that he just exposed our mission to Moldy Voldy.
We started to climb up the hill. Solely breathy sounds and tiredness was present in our conservation.
"I can't always help it! Well, maybe I can. I don't know!" Harry snapped in frustration.
"Nevermind! What happened?" Ron snapped back.
"Well, he's angry and scared too." Harry started. "He knows if we find and destroy all the Horcruxes we'll be able to kill him. I reckon he'll stop at nothing to make sure we don't find the rest. Oh and one of them is at Hogwarts."
"You think?" I practically shouted.
"Did you see it?" Hermione asked.
"I saw the castle and Rowena Ravenclaw. It must have something to do with her." Harry replied putting on some dry clothes.
"Then we must go there. Now." I suggested.
"Snape's headmaster now!" Hermione informed.
"Right. We can't just go and walk through the front door. Plus the place is swarming with Death Eaters." I added.
"We'll go to Hogsmeade. To Honeydukes." Harry said. "Take the secret passage in the celler."
We changed into dry and more comfortable clothes. We grabbed Hermione's hand and apparated in the centre of Hogsmeade. It was snowy like always.
We immediately went to cover ourselves without wasting any time and hid in the shadows so no oncoming people could see us.
We sheltered behind a table and stayed quiet. We could hear footsteps of people creeping up behind us. We positioned ourselves with our wand gripped tightly in our hands, ready to charge if anyone attacks. Then we heard a distressed noise behind us from opposite direction making whoever was following us, turn and follow that.
We looked at each other and shared a look of fear and darted off. We sprinted down the side alley and some frozen stone steps. We didn't plan on stopping at all but eventually came to a stop when we came to a locked gate.
"What now?" My voice was lace with frustration.
We couldn't do anything but stared at the closed gate for a moment as the footsteps behind us got closer every second.
"In here, Potter." A voice called out.
A very old looking man stood in a doorway. He sat waiting for the us to follow him. We hesitated at first and jumped into hiding. We headed down some steps and heard the door shut behind us and lock.
"Did you see him? For a second I thought it was..." Ron trailed off.
"Dumbledore." Hermione and I nodded.
We looked around the place and noticed two things on the wall. One was a picture of a beautiful moving lady. She looked young. We then looked at the broken mirror on the wall. A shard of it was missing which exactly looked like the one Harry was carrying around all the time with him.
"Harry, we can see you in this." I notified him.
Harry came over with complete confusion in his eyes as kept looking back to the shard and the mirror. It looked like some sort of connection. The man had obviously been watching us if the theory about connection is true.
