Harry lifted the golden egg, people around him was cheering. The twins had Harry sitting on their shoulders.
"We knew you wouldn't die, Harry." George started.
"Lose a leg." Fred added.
"Or an arm." George said.
"Pack it in altogether."
"NEVER!" The twins said in unison.
"Go on Harry, what's the clue?" Seamus handed Harry the golden egg.
"Who wants me to open it?" Harry asked and the crowd cheered. I stood to a side with Hermione beside me.
"You want me to open it?" He asked again as the crowed cheered 'Yes'. He opened the egg and a loud horrific screech came out making us cover our ears, he closed it immediately.
"What the bloody hell was that?" Harry asked.
I saw Ron appeared in the doorway.
"Alright everyone, go back to your knitting. This is gonna be uncomfortable enough without all you nosey sods listening in." Fred shoo'ed everyone away.
"I reckon you'd have to be barking mad to put your own name in the goblet of fire." Ron commented.
"Caught on have you. Took you long enough." Harry said.
"Wasn't just me who thought you'd done it. Everyone was saying it behind your back."
"Brilliant. That makes me feel loads better."
"At least, I warned you about the dragons." Ron defended.
"Hagrid warned me about the dragons." Harry shot.
"Oh no, no, I did. Don't you remember? I told Hermione to tell you that Seamus told me that Parvati told Dean that Hagrid was looking for you. Seamus never actually told me anything, so it was really me all along. I thought you'd be alright, you know, after you figured that out."
"Who could possibly figure that out? That's completely mental."
"Yeah it is, isn't it? Suppose I was a bit distraught."
"Boys." I stepped forward with Hermione before they start fighting.
Hermione was reading today's newspaper. I sat beside her reading it.
"Look at this! I can't believe it she's done it again. Miss Granger a plain but ambitious girl seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest prey sources report is none other than the Bulgarian bon-bon Viktor Krum. No word yet on how Harry Potter's taking this latest emotional blow." She huffed as I shook my head.
"That skeeter lady is bad news. We have to inform someone of higher authority about her. Most of her works are fabricated." I huffed in annoyance.
"How about you inform your parents before she make things worse." Hermione said.
"They're too busy this time. I don't know if they'll have time to go after her."
A young boy walked up holding a package.
"Parcel for you, Mr. Weasley." Ron thanked him.
Nigel was gazing at me and Harry.
"Not now, Nigel. Later. Go on." Ron shoo'ed him away
"I told him I'd get him Harry's and Y/N's autograph. Oh, look mum's sent me something. Mum sent me a dress?" Ron asked as he inspected his suit.
"Well, it does match your eyes. Is there a bonnet?" Harry said then fumbled with the box.
"Ginny, these must be for you." Ron said walking to Ginny who was sitting a few people away. I chocked on my drink, laughing.
"I'm not wearing that it's ghastly." Ginny said as Hermione and I snickered on.
"What are you on about?" Ron turned to us.
"They're not for Ginny they're for you! Dress robes." I said between my laughs.
"Dress robes? For what?" He asked.
"The Yull ball. Don't you know?" I asked.
"No. I never heard of any ball."
"Well it's been a tradition of the Tri-Wizard Tournament since it's inception. You'll know. I'm sure we'll be soon informed about that." I explained.
"You better be right." Ron huffed putting back his dress robes.

The Slytherins and Gryffindors were gathered together in the Assembly Room. Snape and McGonagall were standing in the middle of the room. Girls sat on the right and the boys were on the left. Snape started speaking.
"The Yule ball has been a tradition of the tri-wizard tournament since its inception. On Christmas eve night we and our guests gather in the great hall for well mannered frivolity. As representitives of the host school I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward, and I mean this literally because the yule ball is first and foremost... a dance."
Groans and complains emerged from the boys who were listening on. The girls seemed a lot more excited except me and Hermione.
"Silence." McGonagall shouted.
"To the Boys and Girls of both Slytherin and Gryffindors. The House of Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor commanded the respect of the wizarding world for nearly ten centuries. I will not have you in the course of a single evening besmirching that name by behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons." McGonagall said.
"Or idiots." Snape muttered.
I assumed Ravenclaw and Hufflepuffs were gathered together like us. I looked over to the twins seeing they were whispering to each other.
"Now to dance is to let the body breathe, inside every girl a secret swan slumbers longing to burst forth and take flight." McGonagall said but I was still busy staring at George, lost in my own world.
"Miss Knight you seem very distracted. Come forward please." Snape snapped me out of my reverie. My eyes darted at him. I lightly coughed then got up, stepping forward.
"Professor, I suppose you can choose a partner for Miss Knight from your House." Snape muttered with his deep hollow voice.
"Of course, yes. I'd like Mr. Weasley to come forward please." She catching the three Weasley's attention.
"Which one?" Ron, Fred and George asked in unison. Some of the boys chuckled under their breath as McGonagall glared silencing them.
"George Weasley." She said as Fred pushed George to go. He blushed and stepped forward facing me.
"Put your hand over her waist." She ordered as he glanced at her then reluctantly obeyed.
"And your hand over his shoulder, please." Snape told me and I obeyed.
"Everyone kindly get up and choose your partners really quickly." McGonagall said as everyone got up surrounding us.
George pulled me closer taking me by surprise. His arm was snaked around my waist and my hand over his shoulder while our other two was holding each other's. He was towering over me. The girls instantly stood and walked forward, the boys were all still seated but was barked at by Snape. They quickly got up and chose their partners. Everyone copied our position as McGonagall asked Filch to start the music.
The music was slow. We swayed as he looked deep in my eyes. A serene smile on his lips. My cheeks were tingling hot mess. We just embraced the moment secretly and didn't say anything. I smiled back at him while we continued to slow dance.
