Later, we hexed three Ministry of Magic workers into sleep. We put the unconscious body on tr floor. Albert Runcorn, Mafalda Hopkirk and Reginald Cattermole.
"Do you think an hour would be enough for us?" I asked as Hermione pulled each of their hair and dipped it into the brewed Polyjuice Potion.
"I'm pretty sure we can." Hermione replied and stood then turned to us. "Right, remember what we talked about Don't speak to anyone unless absolutely necessary. Just try and act normal and do what everybody else is doing. If we do that, then with a bit of luck we'll get inside."
She then handed out the potion bottles to us. My one was a from random witch. Only she knew whose hair did she put in mine.
"It gets really tricky then." Harry said.
"Right." Hermione said.
I looked down at the bubbling, thick liquid with the most horrific smell.
"Come on." Ron spoke up. "We've got a Horcrux to find."
Then we all drank the potion and felt a feeling of transformation into the ministry officials. Soon the transformation was done and countdown started. We swapped the clothes from the unconscious bodies then went off.
We walked through the busy street of london. Since I've been in the ministry a few times, I leaded them down into an underground where many people were piled into.
"Stand on the toilet with your both feet inside then pull the chains. It will flush you and you'll be transported into the ministry." I explained in a hushed voice as they all nodded.
Then Hermione and I went to the women's toilet leaving Harry and Ron to go for the men's. We waited in seperate lines waiting for the other witches to dissapear. When we arrived, I saw the whole place was crowded. So we started to blend in. I walked past through a guard and luckily he didn't stop me at all. Hermione and I stood in front of a statue. It was a cruel design of people being crushed by a large piller.
"Are those..." Harry's voice was heard.
"Muggles?" Hermione questioned.
"Yes. In their rightful place." I finished her sentence.
We all stared at it until Ron came.
"Got to tell you, I'm starting to freak out a bit." Ron added.
Harry leaded us to the lift that it would take us to the floors we needed to be on. We had to find Umbridge and the locket which she had and bail as soon as possible. As we got in the lifts. It was stopoed by a man with long hair and he looked straight at Ron.
"It's still raining inside my office. It's been two days now." He said with a serious tone.
"Have you tried an umbrella?" Ron gulped in fear.
"You do realize I'm going downstairs dont you Cattermole?" He asked. "To interrogate your wife. Now if my wife's blood status were in doubt and the Head of the Department of the Magical law Enforcement needed a job doing, I think I might just make it a priority."
The lift door shut down after he walked away leaving us alone. Ron pressed the buttons aggressively making the lift move.
"Oh my god. What am I going to do? My wife is all alone downstairs." Ron breathed.
"Ron, you don't have a wife." Harry sighed as I snickered quietly.
Ron realized and let out a sigh of relief. The slowed down to the second level as a female voice was heard. We pushed Ron out onto the floor.
"How do I get it to stop raining?" Ron asked.
"Try Finite Incantatem." Hermione suggested.
"Okay, but If that doesn't work?"
Before anyone of us could answer, the lift began to move leaving Harry, Hermione and me alone.
"I say If we don't locate Umbridge within the hour, we go find Ron and come back another day." Harry's voice a bit shaky.
We agreed and the door opened on the level one. We stopped talking as we saw none other than Umbridge standing in front of us. She had the locket around her neck.
"Ah, Mafalda Addilyn. Travers sent you, didn't he? Good we'll head straight down!" She said with her usual sickening smile. "Albert, aren't you getting out?"
Harry silently left the lift leaving the three of us. Hermione and I found ourselves in front of a whole Wizarding court that were questioning Muggle Born Wizard. We looked above us to see Dementors flying on top of a barrier. After sometime we saw Harry and Ron both enter the courtroom. Umbridge thanked Harry who was still in his disguise brought Ron disguised as Reginald to his wife. Then Umbridge began to question her about her wand. I watched Harry as he slipped his wand out from the pocket of his overcoat, grasping it in his hand.
"What on earth are doing, Albert?" She asked clearly annoyed.
"You're lying Dolores." Harry's face began to bubble. "And you mustn't tell lies!"
The potion wore off and Harry threw a Stupify spell at her making her go unconscious. The rest of the room started to defend Umbridge but Ron and Hermione defended Harry as I leaned over and snatched the necklace from Umbridge's neck. We ran for our lives, trying to get out of the Ministry. We reached to the lifts with the Dementors chasing behind us.
Everyone pointed at us shouting out names sending guards to catch us. I tried to cover my face as we quickly ran. The gates on the fires began to come down as we leaped for it apparating to what supposed to be Headquarters. But something changed at the last second and now we were lying in the middle of a forest.
I groaned and got up seeing Hermione crouched over Ron. I quickly made my way to see Ron's gashed arm bleeding making him tremble in pain. Hermione panicked as I told Harry to give me her bag. He handed me the bag and I plunged my hand inside to find a small bottle. I handed it to her as she opened it poured some drops on the cuts to stop the bleeding. I pressed my hand on the gash making the cut flesh heal without leaving a scar yet a still sore arm. I sat breathless beside my friend as she to stopped panicking.
"Don't know what would we do without you." Hermione said in a thankful tone. I just stared at her trying to steady my breath.
