Y/N Knight comes from a Pure Blood family and one of the most powerful lineages known in the wizarding world. Being the only child of her family, they kept everything low-key since they didn't want to attract too much attention, but eventually, everyone's attention turns to them the moment the surname is uttered.

Furthermore, her father Y/F/N Knight and mother Y/M/N Knight are both Aurors who practically own the Ministry. They never really cared about the importance of bloodlines, as they believed that everyone's blood is red and everybody is human just living differently. The Knight family was respected by everyone and they're even more powerful than the Malfoy family, which Lucius Malfoy found not so pleasing.

Little did Y/N know that she had an adventurous life ahead of her, and she was destined to be a powerful witch in the wizarding world. Now, her time had come when she got her letter from Hogwarts.

"Y/N!!!!"

My mother called me from downstairs. I quickly ran down to see my mother and father smiling at a letter.

"What is it, mother?"

"Your letter from Hogwarts just arrived, dear." My mother smiled excitedly.

A smile formed on my lips as she handed me the letter to read.

"Can't believe my little witch is all grown up and is going to school already." My father added as he continued to eat his breakfast.

I giggled at his words as I went up to my mother again and asked, "When are we gonna leave for Diagon Alley?"

"After you finish your breakfast." My mother replied.

"Do you think I'll be able to make friends?"

"Of course, dear. You're gonna make lots of friends and maybe find your soulmate, too." My mother said cheekily, looking over at my father, who looked a little awkward.

"Mommm." I whined.

"Okay, sorry." She smirked.

I never really learned how to trust a man. I always avoided it when my parents teased me about finding my soulmate. I always told them I don't want to go dating hundreds of men before I find the right one. I wanted my first to be my last. My parents couldn't be more proud of me for that. My father only saw my mother when he was in his school years, and he married his first girlfriend. I wanted my life to be exactly like that.

At Diagon Alley, I stood in front of the wand shop, Ollivanders, nervous to walk in with my father. I stepped one foot inside and was instantly amazed by all the different wands.

Although I already had my own wand which my father bought for me before I got my letter. I was curious to discover its true origins. I stepped up nervously to the counter, waiting for someone to approach. An old man walked forward and gave me a sweet smile, which I gladly returned.

"How may I help you, young lady?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, sir, I was wondering if you could tell me the origins of my wand. I've been using it for years and it's worked well, but I don't know where it came from." I said.

"And what might your name be, young lady?"

"Y/N. Y/N Knight."

"Oh, it can't be... Y/N Knight. The newest witch in the Knight generation, I believe you're destined to be more than just a witch." He said, thoroughly amused.

"Indeed that's her, my little witch." My father walked up behind me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Oh! Mr. Knight, I'm very pleased to meet you." Ollivander offered his hand, and my father happily shook it.

"And you, Mr. Ollivander."

He then bowed his head and signaled for me to show him my wand. I took it out of my pocket and placed it carefully on the counter.

"May I pick it up?" He asked.

I nodded my head, a bit confused. He picked it up and examined the wood carefully, a deep curiosity in his eyes. Finally, he put the wand down and started speaking.

"The wand is made from Spruce Wood with a dragon heartstring core, and surprisingly swishy flexibility."

"I see. Thank you very much."

"A pleasure, Miss Knight."

"You got what you needed, honey? Let's go, it's time to buy you an owl." My father said as we exited the wand shop and headed toward Eeylops Owl Emporium.

My father chose the finest owl for me, and we exited the shop. After buying all the things that were on the list, we finally returned home. I absolutely couldn't wait to start my first year.
