Earlier before leaving for Hogwarts
It was Fred Jr's first day leaving for Hogwarts for his second year. He was very excited to leave for Hogwarts to meet his friends again after owling back forth during the holidays.
Our little daughter was finally here. She had my eyes and George's every other features. Her tiny hairs were reddish brown. She was a daddy's girl for sure since Fred jr. was a mommy's boy. My little boy. Arthur and Molly volunteered to babysit hee so I let them take her to their house.
I dressed up in a subtle dress which gave me a sophisticated look. I was fixing my lightly applied makeup, looking at the mirror. Just then, George entered in our shared room, my back facing him, I looked at his reflection through the mirror.
And boy, oh boy, did he look so handsome as always.
"Well, hello there, my love." George said, picking up his wristwatch from the night stand, beside our bed.
"Looking good, Weasley." I said, my gaze fixated on me as I powdered my nose using my make-up brush.
"You know we've been married for almost 12 years now, you can stop calling me by my last name." He quoted, glancing at me with a smirk dancing on his lips.
"Who said I was talking to you?" I stated and looked at him over my shoulder.
We locked eyes for a moment. I was failing to keep a poker face. My lips turned up, revealing that I just teased him. His smirk got wider and he shook his head, looking down back at his wrist, fixing the straps of his watch band. I could see he was smiling with his teeth out. A glint of shyness spreaded on it.
"I'll never get tired of that." He laughed quietly.
"What can I say, you're stuck with me." I teased again, flipping my hair off my shoulder.
"I know. And I'm glad I am." He added. "Ready?"
He reached his open hand out to me. I nodded and held his hand, leaving our room to go downstairs where our son was waiting.
After we got married, my parents named a good amount of fortune to the Weasleys to fix their financial states. It's never like my parents felt pity for them for being financially unstable or other things but they became very close to the them and helped them overcome their problems. And they couldn't be more grateful. It was a pleasure to agree with my family's decision since the Weasleys always were the good ones and deserved it.
Anyways, we went downstairs and the house elf brought the luggages down the stairs. We apparated to Platform 9 and 3/4 where our son would now start his second year as a Hogwarts student with his other cousins.
I couldn't believe George and I went from being strangers to bestfriend, to lovers, and finally married couple with a twelve and a little 3 month old. Time flies, but what more could someone want except embrace it?
We got our happy ending. Everything was perfect.
