Looking at myself in the mirror in my hallway, I fix it a bit and adjust my green suede jacket.

I'm excited to go out with Max and Luna today.

It'll be the first time ever that it's all three of us- out and about together.

Not cleaning Max's house.

Not racing from one side of the building to the other.

Just Max.

Luna.

And I.

Like...like a small...

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Rushing to the door after grabbing my bag, I open it up and find Max standing there with Luna in her stroller, all bundled up for the slight chilly spring morning.

"Good morning!!" I happily say and as Max comes to give me a kiss and hug, I bypass him for the baby. Crouching down in my long flowing skirt, I lean forward and kiss Luna's forehead. "Hello my munchkin!!"

"Well...good morning...I see where I rank..." He mumbles to himself and I stand up and go back to him.

"Hello..." Kissing his lips softly, I look him over, from his blue button down shirt to his light washed jeans and black sneakers- he looks well put together.

Not that he usually doesn't, but...well...you know what I mean.

The man looks fine as Hell.

"Hey!" Luna yells happily and reaches for me as I turn to look at her. "Mine!"

"Oh, sorry, Dear...I know he's your daddy."

"No...she calls you, Mine."

"Why?"

"I don't know." He shrugs and I blush. Taking the stroller, we start to make our way to the subway so we can head out to Brooklyn for the Aquarium next to Coney Island. "You look beautiful...by the way."

"Thank you...you look very dashing yourself."

"I can push her, if you want?" He offers kindly and I just smile.

"I got it." He looks me over as we go and I can't help but think he doesn't want me pushing Luna around.

It sends the wrong message.

"You should've just let me meet you at your place. It was closer than you doubling here and back." I say trying to get my mind off of Georgia.

She's been on my mind a lot lately.

Ever since Max and I started getting closer.

I mean...we had been close since the beginning- but before I got arrested for taking my patient to that Safe Injection Sight- we were getting closer.

"Oh, Luna and I don't mind. We love early morning walks. She enjoys watching the morning doves and the pigeons fight for bird seed the old lady in the park near our house throws. Makes her laugh."

"Ha, we'll it sounds like an eventful morning."

"Yeah- most days are....So...um..." He begins to fidget and become awkward- like he doesn't know what to talk about.

And who can rightfully blame him.

All we both do is work and discussing that on the weekends is sort of an unspoken code between most doctors.

We don't care much for bringing work home.

"You didn't text me last night." I say and he blushes.
