Stepping into you car, your eyes scaling the tower block your stomach flips at the sight of a dark haired goddess perched on the fire escape. Her hair flowing in the breeze as she clutches to the collar of your top still encasing her body. You let out a small chuckly as you can see her cheeks blush, the adrenaline still racing through her as the tries to cover her face in the crisp cotton. Damn, she's beautiful.

With half a mind you want to scale the walls just to hold her in your arms for one more second, instead you give a reluctant nod and duck down into the seat. Grabbing your phone you scroll before landing on the contact you were looking for, the hands free speakers of your car soon connecting you to a familiar friendly tone. 'Hey boss,'

'Good Afternoon Happy. I need you to arrange some surveillance for me, but keep it low-key yeah.'

Hit steam funnels from behind you as you step out of the shower, perching on the edge of the bed listening as the phone rings out once, twice, three times.

'Trixie, are you ok? I'm can't believe what happened. Are you still at Bucky's' her voice blurting out words faster than she can think.

'No. He's just brought me home. I'm so sorry about last night Jay, I can't believe I was so stupid.' You start to tremble and your voice shakes. Gripping the edge of the counter to steady yourself you continue. 'I put you in danger, I don't even know how it happened, when it happened.' Your eyes well once more, your not even sure how there is any moisture left inside your body at this point. 'Ca..can I come to yours? I don't want to be alone right now.'

Slipping into a hoodie and jeans, keeping on James' top to relish in the comfort as the spiced musk of his cologne provides an anchor for your mind, you step out from your apartment. Heading down the crowded pavements you wrap your arm around you, pulling at your hood as you try to dart between the rainfall and oncoming traffic.

Hustling your way through the city crowds you accidentally bump into a passer by dropping your bag. As you reach down to collect your belongings a male from behind reaches out to help. The unexpected approach caused you to suck in a sharp breath as you Jump back, you retract your arm as flashbacks from last night soar through your memory. Panic stricken you snatch your phone and run, run as fast as your aching body will push.

Your feet move faster and faster, your thoughts blurring as your speed increases. Slamming your feet into the ground with each step you unconsciously direct yourself weaving between the traffic and pedestrians eventually coming to a sudden holt. Looking up towards the gothic stone structure, it's tall arched windows framing the solid oak and steel doors loom over you, almost growing and stretching into the clouds above.

As you stand in the foot of the stairwell, you become numb. Your body slowly turn to stone while you unscramble your thoughts. Why here, what will you say....you should just go.

"Ok, on the count of three I'll leave" you quietly coax yourself. "One...." taking a deep breath you can feel your heart pounding through your chest. "Two" streams of rain water soak into your skin, racing down your face as your hair tangles and sticks to your face. "Three." The doorknob starts to turn.
