As you weave between the crowd you hear Tony and Pepper bickering over why having DUM-E try to make drinks was the worst idea he has had since blowing the electrics at home creating his AI controlled security system. With a deep bellowing laugh Thor cheers at the smashing. ‘yes! I like it. Another!’ as he throws his glass down onto the floor adding to the shards scattering behind the bar.
Placing your dustpan down on top of the counter, tilting your head sarcastically, ‘Really...’
His long blonde hair flowing over his shoulders as he cheers back. ‘Yes, I would very much like another.’
Your not sure if he was joking or completely serious you laugh back, ‘Well if you continue to smash all the glasses after each drink there won’t be any left for you to have another, Thor isn’t it?’
Sitting up straight so you take in the broadness of his shoulders, the man was practically a giant! His face however was as soft as a teddy bear. ‘Aha! You have heard of me, Yes I’m Thor.’ Leaning in to rest his arm on the bar, now eye level smirking as he winks, ‘I’m the one who brings the thunder.’
Slightly amused you pour a fresh drink, placing the glass on the counter you wish him a wonderful night before clearing the rest of the shattered glass and leaving.
Heading back out into the event your path crossed with many familiar faces, mingling as you make polite conversation you spot Jade sitting by one of the tables near the centre stage. Grabbing two more glasses off a passing waiter you head over to join her. ‘Hey!’ handing the glass over, Jade’s face was a bashful smile as she see’s you.
You have known Jade all your life and you know when she’s hiding something. ‘What’s got you all blushed!’
Trying to hide her face Jade takes a sip from her glass, her voice high pitched as she patted her cheeks with the backs of her hand. ‘I’m not blushing, I think the champagne is erm....going to my head a little.’ Looking over her shoulder Jade seemed a little nervous.
Worried she was feeling peaky, ‘Do you want to get some air?’ nodding Jade quickly jumped to her feet and hastily led you both out the main exit.
