Lying in the warm morning sun, still embraced in each other’s arms, the large arched windows opposite providing a view over the rooftops of Paris, you can see the Eiffel Tower standing proud against the purple and pink tones of the sunrise sky. Watching the birds as they sour through the air, their tuneful chirps awakening the world around them your stomach begins to rumble. Running her dainty fingers across your bare abdomen Beatrix looks up towards you, ‘Stay here, I’ll make you some food.’ Watching as she slides out bed, the white sheets wrapping around her body like she was a Greek Goddess, you dart after her.
Enclosing your arms around her so she couldn’t leave, smothering her shoulders and neck with kisses, your voice still lustful ‘Or we could stay in bed forever?’
Batting you away playfully as she flashes you the sweetest smile, ‘ Don’t be silly. We need to eat, otherwise how will you have energy for later..’
Caving in with defeat, you retract your arms before flopping back down into the sheets. ‘Fine.’

Pulling James discarded shirt over your head, the crisp white fabric hung around your body like a dress, heading across the checker floor of the hallway to the kitchen. Your still amazed by the detailed architecture of the building, the delicate sculptures in the large window frames lining the walls to the hanging chandeliers glistening from the high ceilings.
The kitchen was made from large white appliances, heading to the huge range cooker you begin to place together some French toast with fresh fruit and yogurt. As you pour two large cups of coffee your taken by surprise as James creeps up behind you, wrapping his large arms around your waist, pressing his body against yours as he buries his face into your neck. ‘ Smells delicious. Food looks good too.’ He jokes as he pinches a strawberry off the plate.
Sighing you frustratingly moan how he was supposed to be staying in bed and you had planned to bring the food to him. Settling down on the central counter stools, there is a loud scrap of the wooden legs of the seats against the tiles as he pulls yours close to his, so he can still hold you tight. Stabbing a piece of sliced banana off your plate James feeds it to you as his soft warm lips caress your cheek.
Laying back into James chest, you can’t believe your luck, how happy you were in this moment and how different this is from the life you have led so far. He is like your missing puzzle piece, the conversations are effortless, funny and interesting. Rekindling your romance you found there to be almost a sixth sense, your so connected with each other as if able to read each other’s mind, you know exactly what the other needs to do, hear or feel. Closing your eyes to soak up the bliss you feel James tighten around you as he kisses the top of your head. ‘Race you to the bedroom.’
Still exhausted from the early morning antics you had embarked already, shocked at the prompt of another round, you whip your head back to clearly see his face. ‘Really?’
Laughing at your expression James dramatically mimics yours before flashing a wide grin. James placed his hand over his chest, knowing exactly how he had set you up. ‘wow...ok dirty minded girl! I was simply saying I’d race you to get dressed.’Chucking you from his lap before racing around the counter you both stumble and slide across the marble flooring as you chase after him, the echoes of laughter filling the house.
