I had a wonderful year in my school and church. They had told me that I could easily graduate this year but I decided I'd take more extra classes next year. I wasn't extremely smart in fact I wasn't smart at all but I was determined to make my parents proud of me.
This summer my parents gave me the choice to either go to Hawaii or stay here. I decided to stay here because I wanted to work for God this summer. That seemed like a good choice at the moment.
The pastor told me to help out with the choir and with the childrens and I said 'yes'. So my job this summer was to sing and be part of field trips and Bible studies with the kids. I had my whole summer planned out. Wow I was so naive. I never expected what happened next.
