(A/N: You guys would know why I added this pic on the top when you finish reading the chapter. Anyways back to the story!)

Previously...

"Leave me alone, please." I said as I felt the footsteps stop a distance right behind me. I am not in the mood to deal with any of the Captains right now.

"Y/N." The person behind me said and I straightened. I expected maybe Captain Kim, or maybe one of their first mates to find me. Maybe even the slight possibility of Captain RM or Captain Park. But I never expected....

"Captain Jeon?"

Y/N POV:

There he stood, right behind me with a sad expression in his face. He fiddled with his fingers while biting his lips. He looked... timid?

I immediately turned back and went back to staring at the sea. "Go away." I said. I heard him sigh and walk towards me. Then he sat beside me.

For a few minutes, only the sound of the sea hitting the rock and the chatter of the villagers was heard.

"They're...looking for you..." Captain Jeon said.

"So?" I snapped. He sighed again. Then he turned towards me.

"I'm...I'm sorry." He mumbled. I scoffed.

"Really. I had no idea about what you went through and...I spoke bad about not  just you, but women in general. I shouldn't have judged all women blindly just because some of them aren't right. And I'm sorry for that. Also for assuming that you would be just like them. And...for not trusting RM's intution. He trusts you, and we should do the same. Sorry for insulting you..." He said quietly.

I tore my eyes from the scenery and looked down.

"You know...when I heard about what you did, it...reminded me of myself. I had to work hard to earn their trust and...earn my place as Captain. I'm still very young and they still have doubts. And I just proved them of my immaturity when I said all those disrespectful words to you. But you...RM trusted you just like that and...I guess that sort of...disappointed me. But now I see why trusts you so much. And so easily. And you are also working hard to earn your place in this family. And you will work harder once training starts. I just feel disappointed in myself for behaving like that..." Captain Jeon said. Then his hands went up to his eyes.

"I'm still learning. And working hard. And....I hope that we can learn together. If you would forgive me and forget the things I have said to you...you are family after all..." he said. I instantly looked up at him. He was wiping his eyes. Then his eyes met mine. He had beautiful doe eyes. How did I not notice them before?

I blew out a breath. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have lashed out like that. You're just like me after all. And I probably embarrassed you in front of everyone. And you're right. We have so much more to learn. And....I would love to do it all together with you...if you guys let me in I know that I won't disappoint anyone....I will try my best to meet your expectations and work hard to help all of these people." I said.

"So....no hard feelings?" Captain Jeon asked.

"None at all." I said and smiled. He did hurt me but I have to learn to forgive. I am a part of a family now, after all. Part of his family.

Captain Jeon smiled for the first time. It...was so adorable! I was smiling uncontrollably. This man is 19 years old yet the second he smiles he transforms into a child! And the corners of his eyes wrinkle when he smiles. And his cute teeth! And a mole under his lip!
