Y/N POV

People were rushing all over the place as we walked through the busy docks of Gale Island. If it wasn't for Captain Suga's iron grip on my wrist, I probably would have lost them by now. Maybe it's because I am used to hiding within the crowds and not really making space for myself to to walk.

Soon we were walking to a huge ship, one with a bowhead of a black swan. I am starting to guess that only 7 of these ships had bowheads...

This ship was large with even larger sails, clearly made for long distance trips. It had 'DAECHWITA' painted on its side. But something about this ship...was scary. It gave off a haunting vibe. Like it could eat you up any moment. Maybe it was the withering wood effect or the huge black masts but it still scared me.

"Is Hobi here yet?" Captain Suga asked. Wait what? Hobi? Who was Hobi?

"I'm here hyung!" A cheerful voice called before me. Behind me I saw none other than Captain JHope himself running towards us. When he reached us he gave me a smile. As I had said before, it was contagious and I felt the end my lips twitching too. But Captain Suga was unmoved.

"Good, everyone is here. Prepare the ships! We leave immediately!" He yelled. I will admit I flinched a little bit when he did. This man is scary sometimes.

"Heather!" He called and I flinched again as I turned around. Once I met his eyes, they seemed to soften just a liiiiiiiiitle bit.

"You will be with Captain JHope on the Ego. It is much safer." He said, his voice noticibly lower. I nodded. Then he and his first mate boarded the scary black ship. Then I was dragged again to an actual normal ship right beside the Daechwita.

As I boarded the J.H.Ego, I felt something. This was my first time leaving the island. First mission maybe. And I was doing this with my family. It felt good. And energizing.

I leaned in the side of the deck as the anchor was lifted and sails broad and wide. I felt a slight vibration and a sudden jerk before the ship started moving. The crowd at the dock seemed to have a disturbance as someone came to the front. It was Captain Jeon.

"Y/N Fighting!" He yelled as he smiled widely and waved his arm at me. I returned the smile and waved back. At least I had a somewhat nice send-off. I then turned to the front. We didn't bring any crew along—just me, Captain JHope, Captain Suga, his first mate, and Yeonjun. I am not sure why we needed two ships for this, but maybe it was just a precaution or back-up.

But the lack of humans on the ship made it feel empty. Captain JHope was on the helm, steering the ship while Yeonjun was tying ropes up the masts. I could help, except I didn't know what to do. Literally.

I stood awkwardly at the back. Then I just decided to go the the helm and keep Captain JHope company or something. I was halfway up the stairs when he turned towards, probably sensing my presence. He greeted me, once again with a bright smile, before turning back to the wheel.

"How are you feeling?" He asked. Of course he would ask about my well-being. It was in his nature. I stood beside him and inhaled the salty air.

"To be honest....awkward. And nervous. But also excited. Mostly awkward though because I have nothing to do because I don't know how to do anything." I rambled. Captain JHope chuckled at my ranting.
