Third Person

Buendavid entered the VS building with a grim expression, which he had the right to do so. First, he is the CEO. Second, the things happening in his life were becoming pain in the ass. Be it business or personal life, events were all fucked up.

Lahat nang napapatingin sa kanya ay yumuyuko at lumilihis ng direksyon. Hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit ba sila natatakot sa kanya. He only get mad when there is a reason to. But as long as they are doing their job well, there will be no problem.

Just when he entered the private elevator, the phone in his pocket rung. He answered the call immediately.

"Speak," he said.

"Hanep kang lalaki ka. Kung makapag-utos ka ay parang alalay mo 'ko," reklamo ni Jaxon. He's a closed friend and first cousin of Buendavid. He's the son of Dennis Montefuerte, his mother's only brother.

"I'm on my way to a meeting, and things there are frustrating as hell. So, you better speak brief and concise."

"Fine. Gusto ko lang sabihin sa'yo na nakarating na si Beleza sa probinsyana na tinitirhan nila." Pinakiusapan kasi ito ni Buendavid na bantayan si Beleza dahil marami pa siyang dapat gawin sa kompanya.

"Okay. Make sure that they will not get in any trouble."

"Kailan ka ba pupunta rito? Huwag mong tagalan dahil ayaw kong magtagal dito."

"Kung makapagsalita ka ay parang hindi ka sanay sa probinsya. Don't worry, I'll be there soon." Before Jaxon could speak something irrelevant, Buendavid ended the call.

He entered the conference hall and everyone was already inside. They instantly turned their gaze on him.

"At last, you're here," Jennifer spoke. "We have already discussed some things."

"Brief me with the highlights." He sit on the chair reserved for him.

"Albert McCarter is silently pursuing our major stakeholders. He is so determined to hold a Voting Session for your extermination."

"And the grounds are?"

"The sudden decrease of the annual revenue. Also, your image as seen in the public based from the media. He also included the prolonged delay of the satellite launching," answered Johanns. He is the Vice President of VS Aeronautics.

He massaged his temple out of frustration. Dapat talaga noon pa nila pinatumba ang mag-amang McCarter. Ngayon tuloy pinapakita na nila ang kanilang mga pangil.

"How about the shareholders? Kanino pabor ang ihip ng hangin?" he asked.

"The Whiterock, Hatcome Holdings, and Dollar Bill Holdings are all in favor of McCarter. If we add their votes to Arthur and Margaux Flin, it's enough to qualify their request for the Voting Session,"  Hans Reagan informed them. He's the company's Legal Director.

Buendavid processed all the things they said to him. Para magkaroon ng Voting Session ay dapat makakuha ng Qualifued Votes mula sa Outsider Shareholders. Ang Outsiders ay ang may mga shareholder na hindi kabilang sa Directors at Managing entities ng kompanya. At tulad ng sabi ni Hans, maaaring mangyari ang Voting Session.

He measured the outcomes. When the Voting Session will commence, the result will solely depend on the votes of Insider Shareholders which are composed of the directors and managing bodies, excluding Hans because he had no shares. He's their independent body that only focused on the welfare of the company. Siya rin ang nag-poproseso ng buong Voting Session at ang magiging resulta nito.

"And the insiders' votes?"

"Frederick and Melinda are obviously in favor of Albert McCarter, we all know that." Jennifer gave him a folder. "That's the summary of the total votes that you can gain. Obviously, you are on the upper side, given that your father still holds 15.25% and you have 11.27%."
