House

Remember when we lived together?

We had a beautiful house.

I'm sorry for the times I locked myself in and left you banging on the door.

I made my walls so soundproof.

But sometimes I would get out.

Then suddenly I saw you walk to the door.

Suddenly you had your foot outside it and stared back at me.

You turned around and stepped out.

You left the room.

I am now alone in here.

Your bed and other memories are still here, and I'm a carrier of the sight.

But since you left without bringing anything, you soon forgot about me.

All those memories have stayed with me.

Your ghost haunts this house.

You've moved into another.

The dark here eats me up because you were the one who lit candles.

You're doing fine, but I am forever stuck with your memories.
