I'm Burning

I'm screaming
and burning

I'm made of flames

You tried to
put me out

I'm kicking
and fighting

Be careful
touching me
because I have
no problems burning you

I'm made of fire
and you have a desire
to put me out

I'm too big and
you're afraid to
get burned

I'll let you know
that the tiny spark you tamed
has now grown to an inferno

The world is burning
and I'll let everyone know

I'll start fires
on the streets
so they know

I'm made of
passionate flames
and it makes me powerful

Move away,
close your eyes
and be careful

I'm not afraid
of burning down
our bridges
then start a fire
on our bound

I'll smoke the toxins
out of my life

Don't tame me if
you don't want to run
out with smoke
scratching your lungs

I was born in the ashes
of everyone's fires

I was raised in an inferno

I cried fire for
many nights
but nobody heard me

I was burning up
in other's fire

Now I'm burning again
but these scars are
a reminder from the past

I'm burning
and it's my power

I'm on fire
and you can't do anything
about it
