Zen's POV

"LET THEM FUCKING GO!! THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!!!" galit na sigaw ko kay Gretphine at akamang susugod na sana pero may mga kadena na pumulupot bigla sa paahan paakyat sa katawan ko hanggang sa tanging leeg at ulo ko nalang ang hindi napupulupot sa kadena "I'm gonna kill you" madiin na ani ko

"Oh daughter, you know that you can't" natatawang aniya bago umalis sa kwarto

Pinilit kong mag lakad pero masyadong mahigpit ang pagkakatali sakin ng kadena. Sinubukan kong magpalabas ng kapangyarihan ko pero parang walang mangyayari, mas lalo lang akong nanghihina.

Parang kinukuha ng mga kadenang ito ang lakas ko pero hindi ang kapangyarihan ko. Sadyang wala na akong lakas kanina at ngayon, mas lalo pang nadradrain. Dahil sa panghihina ay napahiga ako patagilid sa sahig. I feel so weak, so useless.. and I fucking hate it.

Unti unti ng sumasara mata ko dahil parang gusto na ng katawan ko na magpahinga but god knows how much I want to run towards Ara and Adrian, then save both of them but how can I do that id I'm chained up here?

Muntikan na akong makatulog nang maramdaman kong unti unting nawala naang pagkaapulupot ng mga kadena saakin ngunit nanghihina pa din ako. I felt something--- or someone carefully dragged me up and gently laid me down on the bed.

My eyes are blurry that's why I can't recognize who this person is. I can't feel anything aside from his cold stares. Until now, he still have no presence nor aura. What is he doing here!?

Pinilit kong umupo at tinulungan nya naman ako. Nang naging malinaw na paningin ko ay agad na kumunot noo ko nang makaharap ko siya.

"What the heck and how did you get here?" madiin na sabi ko, trying not to make any loud noise so Gretphine won't hear us.

"Don't worry, the Gratia won't here us, this room is soundproof because she, her own, make sure that no one can hear your shouts nor your calls" malamig na aniya

"But she can sense that you're here. If she finds out that there's someone entered here, she'll kill you" sabi ko at ako mismo ang natigilan dahil sa iniisip ko "Are you, perhaps.. a traitor?" my confused look suddenly changed to a glare.

"No, I'm not"

"Then why are you here? How did you know this place!?"

"Because you're here, so I'm also here" simpleng sagot nya

"Is this a joke to you Zak?" I said to him full of irritation plus the fact that I'm fucking frustrated right now.

"Do I look like joking?"

"My friends are outside, almost fighting for their lives. Gretphine is just outside that door and doing her plans. Yet, you're just fooling around!? If I can't kill Gretphine right now, I might have to take your life instead" madiin na sabi ko at sinipa siya sa tyan pero agad akong napangiwi ng may parang pwersa ang tumama sa tyan ko. Sinamaan ko sya ng tingin "What have you done to me?"

"I did nothing to you, Zenadia. I'm going to tell you the truth but you keep letting your anger control you. If this continues, the Gratia will feel your emotions and she'll use that as your weakness" malamaig pa din na aniya

Napatitig ako sakaniya ng ilang sandali at napaisip sa sinabi nya. He's right, I hate it but he's fucking right. Kumalma ako pero binigyan kk lang din siya ng isang malamig na tingin. It's like there's a winter breeze between our stares.

"Who are you?" seryoso ngunit may kalamigan na tanong ko

"I'm Zak, your familiar, your guardian, your protector or what ever you'll call it. I'm your other half" seryoso nyang sagot
