"And you look great with that suit!"
I chuckled. She looked like a princess.
While me, on the other hand, wore an all-black suit.
Dahan-dahan niya akong hinarap. Saka ako lumuhod. Kailangan kong mag-propose bago ang kasal mamaya. Napaawang ang kanyang labi.
I was shaking while opening the box. I cleared my throat before I spoke. "S-Sunshine.... I know we've been through a lot, especially you. I want to make you happy for the rest of our lives," I said, taking a deep breath. "Will you be my wife forever?
A lone tear fell from her cheek while she was nodding. "Yes, my love! I will marry you!"
"I love you so much... Thank you, sunshine," I said, sobbing.
"Don't cry... aalis pa tayo," she said while wiping my tears.
We took a mirror selfie. I was hugging her from behind. Her face was slightly tilted to the left side for me to have more access to her right shoulder, where I rested my chin. She held the phone in her left hand, where the engagement ring was located. While the other was caressing my face.
We looked like a model.
It was a subtle way to show that we're engaged. When you look closely at our photo, you can see the diamond ring. It stood out because she was wearing black gloves. It was shining... Like her.
It's perfect.
WE IMMEDIATELY WENT to the parking lot dahil ayaw naming ma late sa event. We greeted our driver for today, Sniper.
I just smirked. He was really good at lying.
Elisha nodded.
"We'll enjoy this day, okay?"
She nodded.
