"So, let's start?"

Architect Navarro smiled awkwardly to the both of us, gesturing to us the seats. I bit my lower lip when I realized how long I have been staring at him. I wanted to thank Architect Navarro for calling our attention. If he did not do that, I would just stare at Oliver until he's gone out of my sight.

Oliver... Wait, what should I call him? Should I still call him Oliver? No, I think that's not a good idea. I don't want to act casual towards him. Plus, it would be unprofessional for him. I should just call him Architect Añonuevo. It's safer to call him that.

Architect Añonuevo and Navarro sat as I told them to present their design already. They were beside each other while I was sitting in front of Architect Navarro. There is no way I could sit in front of Architect Añonuevo. He has something in his presence that I just couldn't handle.

Earlier, when he called me in my name, I felt nothing. I didn't feel anything not because he doesn't have any effect on me anymore but because of how cold his voice was while saying my name. His serious face was also adding coldness in his presence. He wasn't like this before. He was.. soft and warm.

Did he.. lost that too?

Architect Navarro took out his laptop and started doing something on it. He was probably preparing their presentation. While he was busy, I glanced at Architect Añonuevo who was writing something on his small sketchpad.

Did he grow his hair long? I kinda can't tell if he did or not. Nakaayos kasi ang buhok niya kaya hindi masyadong halata. But it looks good on him. He also looked clean with his white dress shirt, three buttons were open.

I was shamelessly checking him out when his eyes turned at me, noticing that I was staring at him. I looked away immediately and acted like I didn't just stared at him for a whole minute. Wala naman siyang sinabi or ni-react kahit na alam niyang tinitigan ko siya. Wow, he doesn't care at all.

Architect Navarro started presenting the studio's design to me. I was just looking at his laptop as he keeps on talking. Architect Añonuevo was also giving ideas and everytime he's talking, I can't help it but to look at him. Siya lang tinitignan ko kapag nagsasalita. God, is he noticing it?

"I like it," I said after they presented the design. I held the laptop, pulling it closer to me. "I just wanted you to change--"

I got cut off when Architect Navarro's phone suddenly rang. We all looked at it. Architect Navarro took it and checked who was calling him.

"Oh, can you excuse me, Miss Lazaro? I have to answer this call, it's important," he said. I immediately nodded at him so he could go and answer it already. He turned at Architect Añonuevo. "Ikaw muna dito, Architect."

My eyes widened when he suddemly stood up and walked away, leaving me and Architect Añonuevo alone. I didn't realize that we were going to be alone! I watched him went out of the coffee shop before turning again at Architect Añonuevo.

"I'll continue," he said, standing up to sit in front of me. I wanted to react but it would be weird. Of course, he would change seat! Mahihirapan siyang mag-present kung hindi kami magkaharap.

Ugh, why am I thinking like this? I should act professional just like what he's doing now! Well, I can't even blame myself for acting like this. I wasn't planning to meet him like this, god! This was so unexpected!
