What a great weather is it today. Sun are flashing bright, clouds are slow moving in the sky and the birds chirping on the trees as if they were singing and celebrating.
It's be nice if the weather is as great as my life.
"You must be Y/N?"
I turned behind me and saw a figure of a short blonde woman approaching me and another tall brown-haired woman beside her. She smiled nicely as I handed my suitcase to the laborer.
I felt like I've seen them before when my husband and I was checking our new house out. I assumed they live on the tall house on our left side.
"Yes, my name's Y/N. It's nice knowing you." I smiled and approached them but a laborer talked behind me.
"Ma'am, where should we put this?" The two laborer asked while carrying the sofa.
"Just the center of the living area. Thank you." I answered and turned my gaze to the girls but I was surprised when the blonde-haired suddenly grabbed my hand.
"It really is nice knowing you!" She exclaimed and shook my hand. "Call me Historia. And this," She pointed at the person behind her who nodded once. "..is Ymir. We're really glad to be your neighbors."
The woman named Ymir placed her arms on Historia's shoulder. "I'm the girlfriend," She added and squinted her eyes on me. "The. Girlfriend and The. Lover, get it?"
"Ymir!" Historia scolded her as I chuckled awkwardly. "I heard you're married.." She looked around and tiled her head. "Where is he? Or is it a she?"
I laughed and shook my head, glancing at my phone on my hand. "He's.. at work right now. I don't think he'll make it today."
"Oh." She paused. "You're the only one working to move in the new house?" She asked. I nodded as an answer. "Do you need help? We can help. I'll call Armin, he's our friend and he's used in laboring."
"Thank you for the concern." I shook my head. "That would be nice but my husband already paid enough laborers for our moving in."
"Sure. Though, your husband could've helped you. That's what husband and wives do when it's their first time moving--"
"Historia." Ymir cut her off, sensing my discomfort. "He must be very busy, then."
"Yeah.." I muttered as I turned around, watching the workers pull out a large wedding frame from the truck.
"He's quite a handsome man." I didn't noticed Historia glancing at the frane as well. "How nice."
It's our wedding picture, nearly four years ago. I've heard a lot of complimenting just by glancing at the frame alone.
Compliments on how expensive it looks. About how lucky am I to marry an expensive man like him. Or how lucky that a man like him has married and do love me.
He actually is a perfect man, truth to be told. I'm confident that I can go around with Eren beside me and brag that he's my husband. But picturing it inside our relationship, I don't think I'm confident to tell anyone that he feels the same way.
Couples were never flawless but why do I feel like I just married myself that to say that I really married another person?
I felt alone.
Even when we were still newly married, he's always busy as if the one he married was his company and not me. It makes me think that even if we bought a new house, nothing will change at all.
And I'm afraid to say a word. I don't want to part with him.
"It's pretty hot. I'll make you guys iced coffee." I said and left the couple outside the house to make a drinks for the workers and them.
"Thank you! You shouldn't have bothered." Historia said as I handed them two glass of drinks. "Have you planned about your welcoming party?"
I placed the tray on the table that was placed on the front yard. "That.. I don't really know if Eren wants to have one. I'll ask my husband about it."
"Then how about the garden? We'll help you set it up. I'll ask Armin about it, he's a great designer. You can come stop at our house too anytime." She pointed at a house at the left side.
I clasped my hands. "That's great. I'll think about it."
The neighborhood here might be small but the people sure are very friendly. I was the one who picked this residence, I'm glad that Eren has no complaint.
It's not hard to get along with them as long as you're friendly with them. All of them are nice too.
On the left side of the neighborhood lived Historia and her girlfriend, Ymir. Infront of our house is a college proffesor, Hange. And to my right side was Historia's friend, Armin.
I'm quite excited that I can get along with them since they're just about my age. It was so long since I've hang-out with my college friends along with Eren. It wouldn't be bad if I make another friends.
"I'm home."
From the kitchen, I heard Eren's voice as I placed the spatula on the sink and washed my hands before running to the living area.
"Eren!" I met him on the living area as he exhaustedly sat on the couch and massaged his neck. "Welcome back! What do you think about the interior? Do you like it?"
He hummed as an answer. I smiled ear to ear and waited for him to talk. I cleared my throat and grabbed his coat on the couch as I hung it on the hook.
"Have you met the neighbors? They're pretty nice and friendly. Historia said she wants to meet you too." I stated.
"Y/N, it's seven in the evening. Do you expect them to wait for me?"
My smile fell, clearing my throat as i nodded. "Yeah." I whispered and turned around. "Then.. How about the party? Have you thought about it?"
"What party?" He asked as his attention was on his phone.
"Welcoming party. You should invited your workers. Jean and the others. I missed them, maybe we can hang-out like before-- "
"Y/N, you're so noisy. Just do whatever you want with it." He said and stood up as he went to his own room. My mouth twitched as I sighed and went back on the kitchen.
He's like a pregnant man with mood-swings.
I prepared our dinner and made it a little special since it's our first night in our new home. I called him plenty of times but I never got an answer so I went to his room.
I knocked on his room thrice before entering He was busy with his laptop as always. Papers are on his table, his neck tie and wristwatch are scattered on the new bed.
"I made a curry. Aren't you gonna eat?" I closed the door behind me.
He didn't glanced at me and just continued typing. "Not hungry." He answered shortly. I nodded and looked around the bedroom.
Boxes of his stuffs and bag of his clothes are still on the floor.
"Eren, should we just share rooms? It's quite spacious here and you can use the other room as storage--"
"Don't ever think about it. You're gonna ruin my work hours. It's for our privacy too." He didn't even glanced at me. I pouted and leaned on the doorframe.
"It's not like we need privacy when we're already married." I mumbled to myself. "Then, should we make an office room for--"
"I said no, Y/N." He looked up with annoyed eyes. "I already let you choose our place so stop being annoying."
I blinked in surprise, looking stunned. I pursed my lips and nodded before slowly, leaving the room.
I just don't understand why he needed his own room.
Am I really that noisy?
We're married but we even have separate rooms. I chose an average small house so that I can always feel like he's around.
