The day passes quickly and vacation came for Cane. I packed a great amount of his clothes on a travelling bag as well as his books. I'm pretty sure, he'll be bored when on the plane.

I also took a month leave from the company. Levi had to look for a substitute since the company won't be at good stake if the COO wouldn't be there.

"Hey, brat! If you see your fath-- OUCH!"

I pinched Pieck's waist when I realized what she's about to say. I chuckled awkwardly when Cane stared at us.

I held his hands as I pulled our luggage. We brought two baggage. Jean was holding the other one.

"Y/N make sure you bring Cane back to us." Yelena squinted her eyes. I chuckled sarcastically and smiled.

"You're joking, right?" I shook my head in disappointment. "We'll be back in a month. I'm making sure he has fun time with his grandparents."

Not that long, we decided to bid our goodbyes and entered the airport. Cane couldn't held his excitement when we entered the plane.

I let him sit near the window for his experience. It was a long ten-hour flight. I'm kinda thankful that he isn't much sensitive to vommit while on air.

"Are you gonna go straight to the hospital?" Jean whispered when Cane fall asleep on my arms. I stroked his blonde hair and nodded.

"Yeah.."

It might be an advantage since we're gonna arrive in the middle of afternoon.

"Then, I'll take Cane in the condo." He said. I nodded and thanked him.

Once we arrived, I'll tell Cane that I'm visiting someone in the hospital. Then our plan for tomorrow is to introduce him to my parents.

Their reaction.. I know they'll be surprised. I lost my contact with them six years ago. The day before I decided to fly in Tokyo, I told them I'm gonna be gona for a while but I didn't told them where.

They must've been worried sick but I had Jean to tell them that I'm alright and safe.

"Cabin crew, please take your seats for take-off."

"Mama, are we gonna land now?" Cane asked as he closed his book. I nodded and pointed the window.

"Yeah. Do you want me to open the window blinds?" He nodded with a glimpse of excitement on his face.

"Yes, please."

"Dang, your son is respectful. Did you actually raised him." Jean peeked and gave Cane a high five. I smiled sarcastically and nodded.

"Do you want to die?" I whispered.

The plane took off smoothly. Cane was amazed when he felt his stomach dropped. I'm glad that it makes him happy but my smile fell when he started explaining about excess gas from the stomach when the plane is taking off.

Jean kept laughing happily as we went out the plane. I was in the verge of slapping him if only he didn't stopped.

Here I thought, Cane is already experiencing what kid's experienced mostly. But his scientific explaination is always involved when he's talking.

It makes me wonder if I accidentally gave birth to Newton. I wouldn't be surprised if this kid will be the one to invent cure for cancers.

"Cane." I called his name and crouched infront if him after we went out the airport. "Mama's gonna visit a friend in the hospital. You're probably tired from the flight, so I'll leave you to Uncle Jean."

He nodded and pulled the hem of my clothe. "Mama?" He called me. I raised a brow and stood up. "I understand but.. I'm already five now so we cam stop talking in third person's perspective."

I froze and I heard Jean laughed behind me. He walked passed me and gave Cane a high five.

That was indeed embarrassing.

I sighed and ruffled Cane's hair. "Sure. But if you need anything, ask Jean. Alright?" I said.

"Here." Jean threw his car keys to me and pointed at one of the guard in the airport. "That guard knows where I left my car. I'll leave it to you."

Jean and Cane called an uber to take them home. I watched them enter the taxi as I went to Jean's car where the guard pointed and drove to the hospital.

The country didn't changed a lot after those six years. There was indeed a few new buildings but some haven't changed.

It was my first time stepping my foot again after all those years so it's not very surprising.

I arrived shortly at the hospital. I, first remember the place where Jean brought me when I got my spotting out of stress.

Luckily, when I was in Tokyo. I didn't bleed again thanks to Yelena and Pieck's care. Raising a child was very hard but Cane's different.

He was a calm kid and he doesn't cry a lot back then. As he grew up, he got sick a lot but he didn't cried. He would feel relieved whenever I'm beside him.

That worries me sometimes. He doesn't act like other kids. Normally, a child would only care for games but Cane isn't. He worries for others a lot.

"Hi." I greeted the nurse on their station. "May I know what floor is Historia Reiss got admitted?" I asked politely.

The nurse nodded and typed something on his monitor. "It's on room twenty-eight at seventh floor."

I thanked the nurse and decided to go to the elevator. When I reached the floor, I looked for Historia's room. It was on the center of the floor where Historia's name was plastered on the door.

My heart pounded in anxiety. This is gonna be the first time in years where I'll get to see her again.

I knocked on the door thrice before I heard a voice from inside.

"Come in! It's unlocked."

It's Ymir's voice. I once took a deep breath   before I held the door knob and twisted the door open. The loud noise from inside suddenly went quiet after I entered.

I clenched my purse as my eyes first darted at Sasha and Connie who's smile fell when their attention went to me.

It was dead quiet and awkward as I closed the door behind me.

"Y/N..?" Sasha slowly stood up. I smiled slightly and nodded as I looked at her.

"Yeah.."
