Chapter 41

"Y/N!!" Sasha ran to me as my eyes roamed around their area. I didn't know Ymir and Historia had a new house years ago.

Unlike their house years ago, this one is much bigger and brighter. They were located in a new subdivision.

I just arrived at their party. I don't exactly know what party is this, I'll just find about it later.

Historia greeted me and I didn't expect her to hand me a glass of beer instantly. I shrugged it off and accepted as I greeted the others.

I brought Pieck and Yelena with me while Jean isn't still here. The other people gave me a small greetings when someone called me.

"Y/N." Eren approached me. "I didn't know you'll come. I was surprised to see you."

"Oh, Hi." I smiled and looked around. Pieck went beside me and whispered while looking at Eren.

"Is he your ex-husband?"

I chuckled and slighly pinched her waist. "We don't talk about that here." I said and looked at Eren. "This is Pieck and Yelena." I pointed at the two of them.

He smiled and offered a hand to them as they accepted it.

"Is he single?" Pieck whispered.

"Stop it." Yelena scolded her. I laughed and shrugged and waved my hands.

"I don't know you gotta ask him, not me." I said. "Anyways, do you want to come with me?"

Pieck shook her head and pointed at the counter bar. I nodded and let Sasha pull me somewhere.

Historia has a lot of friends invited, some aren't really familiar but others are few faces that I can recall from years ago.

Sasha pulled me inside. I saw Historia and the others sitting on the long circular couch. Historia saw me and waved.

Familiar faces greeted me as I stopped on the couch. Marco, Berthold and Annie. My eyes widened as I sat beside them.

"Ah, it's been so long! I've missed you." I chuckled and gave Marco a hug as well as Bert. They laughed and looked at Annie who was silent.

I faced Annie and saw her avoiding her gaze from me with a pale expression. I sighed and sat beside her.

"You haven't changed at all, Annie. I bet you're either dating someone real hot or... are you married?" I asked.

She bit her lips and glanced at me. "Y/N, about Violet. I want to apologize about her actions."

"Huh?" I tilted my head and furrowed my brows. "Who's Violet?" I asked. Her eyes widened as she looked at me. I laughed and patted her shoulders. "I'm kidding. Don't worry, I'm not holding a grudge to her. It's not like I'm gonna sneak into her house and murder her and dispose her corpse in the river and let the piranhas eat her flesh."

"Y/N, YOU'RE SOUNDING LIKE YOU ALREADY PLANNED IT!" Connie yelled infront of me. I laughed and shook my head as I clung my arms on Annie.

"I was kidding. I'm not gonna do that. I've already forgotten it and it's not like I can hate her in my entire life."

"See?" Bert beside her smiled and tapped her shoulder. "We've been friends with
Y/N since college. You don't need to be guilty about what your cousin did."

I nodded, agreeing with Bert. I can still see the guilt on Annie's face so I sighed and got my phone from my bag.

I opened it and showed her my lockscreen. "If you think I broke up with Eren because of her then you're wrong. I'm clearly over it and I'm raising this child now."
