"Let me borrow Y/N for a second."

I furrowed my brows as I glared at him. Sasha sighed and let go of my hands. She raised both of her hands as if she was surrendering to him.

"Then, she's all yours."

My forehead creased even more when Sasha said that. Armin nodded and gently pulled me out the room. I saw Historia waved her hands at me with a smile.

I walked passed Eren who gave me a small nod before entering the room. When the door closes, Armin and I were left outside Historia's room alone.

I don't even see nurses or doctors walking pass our hallway.

I blinked and stared at the door as I felt Armin's presence behind. I didn't got the chance to protest a word and I'm being completely dragged by him.

But what's more important.. I can feel his hard stare on my nape. I'm getting goosebumps by sensing his stares.

I sighed and crossed my arms while tapping my foot on the floor. "If you're not gonna talk, can I go inside now?"

"Why did you leave?"

I tightly closed my eyes and sighed.

I knew he's gonna ask this.

I turned around and lifted a brow. "Because I want to?"

I saw how he stiffined and his brows went into thin line. "What..?" He muttered. "You're joking.. right?"

"No."

"Y/N, you do realize that you left for six years? Six whole damn years and you're gonna come back as if you were just on a vacation. You can't just say you wanted to leave without any explanations." He raised a tone.

I completely turned to him. "I'm aware. I'm gone for six year and so what? What's the point of explaining if you won't gonna see your mistake for yourself?"

"Then why won't you just tell me why did you have to do that. Y/N." He said aggressively. "You don't understand how long is six years. You suddenly vanished and not even your parent's know where you are."

I leaned into him. "You don't really know your mistake, huh?" I asked sarcastically. "But weather you're affected or not, do you think I care?" I said. I bit my lips and darted my gaze when I saw pain crossed his eyes.

I wasn't wrong. I wanted to let him feel how much pain he caused me that day. He was a good actor for hurting me.

Even if he shows that he's in pain. He doesn't think that I'd believe him that fast.

But why do I feel so guilty? I wasn't on the fault when I wanted to protect myself but why does his expression hurts me as well?

I sighed and shook my head.

"Why are you acting like that Y/N?" Armin said that made me confused as he grabbed my arms. "You left and you came back like a complete different person." He paused. "If that's only the case.. it shouldn't be a big deal. But you left me alone--"

"Why?" I tilted my head as my heart dropped. "We're we in a relationship back then?"

His hand on my arms loosened and I felt how his breathing hitched and froze where he was standing.

I stepped back as I realized that I hit the spot.

"Quit your acting now, Arlert. You may be a good actor but you can never fool me again." I said. "You're wasting your breath on a mere playtoy like me."

I left and entered the room without hearing his voice. I almost lost all my energy just by talking to him. I feel like I'm gonna collapse anytime soon.

A set of eyes stared at me when I entered the room. I smiled as if nothing happened and continued walking inside.

Armin followed after a few minutes so I busied myself talking with my friends. Sasha has to left early so I went with her and offered her a ride to his work.

I know it's been six years but I couldn't help but to think that she's still working on the cafe.

"Pretty foolish of me to think that you're still a part-timer in the cafe." I laughed and stared at the building where she works.

"You mean the Sunrise Expresso?" She looked at me. I nodded and she scratched her head. "Eh.. how should I explain this..?"

I furowed my brows and looked away from the building. "Why?"

"The cafe still exists but.. it's not under Armin's name anymore so Connie and I left." She explained. I got even more confused and listened to her.

"It was like five years ago when Armin sold the cafe. All of his branches.. he sold them all."

He did?!

She laughed awkwardly. "He sold all of them because.. he was reminded of you when he enters the cafe. We're pretty naive that time and didn't realized that you two were in a relationship." She said.

"Man.. Time passes quickly." She laughed. "If you could see how Armin was wasted when you left.. he almost set the cafe on fire because he was mad--"

She suddenly covered her mouth and realized that she was talking gibberish.

"Shit." She cussed. I was stunned the whole story as she sighed and waved her hands. "That's pretty much all. Armin used the money to build his own architectural firm." She stated and instantly removed the seatbelt.

"I'm gonna be late!! I'll see you next time. Thanks for the ride!" She panicked and ran stumbling to enter the building.

I didn't understand how should I feel today.

My feelings are all mixed. Confusion, Frustration, Tiredness.. everything.

I wanted to question myself.. was leaving actually the right thing I did?

But I heard all of it. Armin wasn't serious at all. Thinking about myself was never wrong. Protecting myself wasn't wrong.

Or mom's probably right. I may be selfish that I thought.

On the way home, I convinced myself to forget about it. Weather I think about it or not, what passed will never go back.

Cane greeted me with a happy face. I couldn't help but to compare his looks with Armin. Even if he looks like Armin's carbon copy, Cane will always be my stress reliever.

It reminds me back then. If I was stressed with Eren. Armin would always relieve the stress for me.

There's no way that I lost my feelings for him even when years had passed.

It's a miracle that Cane wasn't holding a book the whole day. He was really having fun while playing with the neighbor kid.

Back in Japan, he never interacts with someone other than Yelena, Peick and me. He must've like this place a lot.

I had to pick him up from the neighbor when it's dinner time. He was a little talkative with his today that makes me glad. But it wasn't so soon when he quickly fall asleep after I showered him.

I tucked him on the bed first before entering the bathroom and showering as well. Cold showers help in peace of mind.

Right after I went out the bathroom, I heard a repeatedly knock from downstairs. No one is picking it up so I had to go down and check it by myself.

Mom and Dad are probably asleep now. It's in the middle of midnight now so there's nothing to question about it. I went on the entrance to open the door.

"Hold on." I whispered and unlocked the door when Armin's face greeted me by the dark.

I furrowed my brows and blinked a few times before I confirmed that it was really him.
