"You're doing great, Y/N." Armin complimented as I looked at the cappucino I made. I might know how to bake but I'm not really great at coffees.
I'm glad Armin's willing to teach me. Earlier at breakfast, I was to dumbfounded at Eren's words. I found myself walking at the cafe.
It's great that I met Sasha and Connie. They're like Historia and Ymir but even twice cheerful. In addition of Armin's presence, I can almost forgot Eren's hurtful words.
Eren's somehow right. I need to do something fun and not just stay at home, and wait for him as if my world only revolves at him.
I nodded and looked beside me. I froze when Armin's head was so close, peeking over my shoulder pointing at the cappucino.
"The flower image on it looks unrecognizable, though." He laughed pointing at the milk foam.
Armin's side profile is indeed very cute. He looks like a kid with his little pointy nose and pink lips. Bowl cuts sometimes looks funny on a person, but I admit he looked good in it.
I would laugh if I imagine Eren on bowl cut, but Armin.. It's like the hairstyle was only made for him.
If he found a girlfriend.. she would be very lucky.
He suddenly looked at me. Our face was just inches away and his nose was so close to mine. His eyes were.. the color of an ocean.
How comforting to look at..
"Y/N..?" Armin talked, his breath was hitting my face. I stood straight and cleared my throat. I turned on the wall, hiding my flushed face as I pointed at the painting that was hanged on it.
"This photo of sky looks good. I like it!" I exclaimed. Connie stopped walking when he was about to enter the kitchen and stared at the painting. He suddenly broke into a laughter and slapped my back, giving him a groan.
I heard Armin laughed so sudden and went beside me. "Yeah, it does look good." He glanced at me. "Too good that you mistook an ocean for the sky."
I blinked and stared at him. I looked back at the painting and squinted my eyes, realizing that it's an ocean.
"I-It.. appears to be an ocean." I looked away in embarassment. The white waves made it look like a cloud. Everyone who'd glance at it would thought it's a sky.
"Pfft." Sasha on the counter laughed as she handed the costumer their order. Even the costumer heard our conversation showed a small smile.
"Do you like oceans?"
I blinked and looked at Armin. I stared at him and smiled looking back to the painting.
"I never visited one." I confessed.
"What?" His eyes widened in disbelief. I nodded and stayed my eyes on the frame.
"I've always lived in city with no oceans. I got busy in college so I didn't got the chance to visit one."
"Eren and my hometown is surrounded by the sea." He furrowed his brows. "You haven't visited it?" He asked as I bit my lips and shook my head.
"That would be cool, though. Maybe I'll tell him next time?" I smiled. I didn't heard him answer so I looked at his way. He was staring at me again.
I felt like getting flustered. He seems to keep staring at me this day. It's embarassing. Not even Eren could stare at me like that. If I'm in highschool, I would openly flirt and announce my admiration but I'm an adult and married now.
"I thought you've already visited his birthtown." He said. "Why don't you ask him to your anniversary? I can help with the preparations. When is it?"
