He Broke His Own Heart

"God, I needed that!" I say when I find my breath again and start getting dressed

"Obviously!" he says getting dressed too

"I needed a few moments of bliss before going to sleep and then waking up to face reality again..."

"Wow, what happened with Logan hit u hard, huh?"

"Yeah, harder than I thought it would..."

"Almost like u have feelings for him..." he says looking me with a raised eyebrow

"Of course! U also need to sleep, u're working tomorrow" he says playfully, smirking

"Right, I wouldn't want my boss to be mad at me for being late. Even if he was the one keeping me up" I say at the same tone and then he unlocks the door and we get out.

"Ok, how long have u been fucking?" Fred asks frustrated when we go close to him

"Not long, relax! This was the 3rd time..." I tell him, finishing my drink

"Since when do u fuck your employees?" he asks Ian

"U know I don't. But this little creature is a vixen!"

"I'd call your dick little, but we both know this isn't true" I say playing offended by his comment and at the end he laughs, while Fred sighs and squeezes his eyes shut in distress

"Just go!" he says looking disgusted giving me my things, that I had him store in a cabinet under the counter, and I take them laughing

"Good night guys, see u in a few hours" I say and Fred just waves at me without looking at me. As I put my coat on, I look at Ian amused by Fred's reaction and he winks at me

"Take a cab!" he says playing strict

"Yes, daddy!" I say teasingly, making him bite his bottom lip

"U have 5 seconds to disappear from my sight before I push u back into my office" he says looking at me seductively

"Tempting, but If I don't leave now, none of us will show up in the morning" I say winking and then turn around, leaving Fred making puking sounds

When I get in the house, I go to the kitchen to drink some water before going to sleep, only to find my dad sitting on a chair around the kitchen table

"Hi..." I say, walking to the fridge

"Hi. Do u feel any better?"

"I think so! Ian helped me understand that maybe it's not my fault that Logan's heart got broken. He knew what he was getting into, so, in a way, he broke his own heart" I answer, pouring some water in a glass and then I put the bottle back in the fridge and close it

"Ian is smart"

"He is, yeah. He helped me a lot!"

"U had sex with him, didn't u?"

"Oh yeah! And it was amazing! Good to have him as back-up!"

"Do u think it's safe to have that relationship with your boss?"

"Well, its clear that it's only casual sex. I don't ask for any special treatment and he doesn't treat me any differently than he treats Mike."

"And u're not scared that it might end up badly?"

"Nope. I think that if we start feeling that it isn't working anymore, we'll just stop. Besides, it's not like I will be working there forever"

"Right...alright then, since u're back, I'm going to turn in, ok?"

"Yeah, ok. Goodnight!" I say and after kissing me on the head, he goes to his room

Not long after going to my room too and changing into my pjs, I try to sleep, but I keep thinking of everything that has happened the last month and I can't sleep, so I decide to go sleep with my dad

"Dad?" I whisper, shaking him gently

"What's up? everything ok?" he asks kinda jumping up

"Yes, everything is ok, but I can't sleep! Do u mind if I sleep with u instead?" I ask softly and he scoots over, keeping the covers up for me to get in, and when I crawl under them and into his arms, he covers me and wraps his arms around me tightly. This works like a charm, since I fall asleep within minutes.
