"Where are u going??" I ask getting out too
"I'm calling an uber, I'm going home" she says taking her phone out
"Sandra, get back inside, it's raining!"
"Why does it always rain in situations like that? It's like a fucking movie scene!"
"It's March, of course it's raining, now come back inside!"
"Are u ready to talk?"
"I am!"
"If I get inside and u're not, I swear-"
"I am ready, Sandra, get in the fucking car before we both get pneumonia!" I yell and she gets inside.
When I'm inside the car too, I take my coat from the backseat and put it on her
"So, talk" she says
"I don't know what we are, all I know is that even the thought of u hooking up with other men drives me insane! Maybe because the sex is so good that I don't want anyone else to feel it, I don't know!"
"Do u have feelings for me?"
"Well, I don't hate u..."
"That means nothing to me, Ian!" she says and I sigh
"I care about u, sure, I want u to be happy and safe and shit!"
"That's not good enough..."
"That's all I have for now!"
"So, we're just exclusively fucking then?"
"Is it that bad?"
"Not necessarily, but I thought that by now u'd have realized if u're in love with me or something like that..."
"Are u in love with me or something like that?"
"I don't know, I've never been in love before, I don't know how that feels..."
"Then we're on the same page"
"Hurray! What do we do? Do we keep being exclusive and see where it goes? or we just consider ourselves a couple until we decide otherwise?"
"Well, we're both emotionally unavailable, so I think we're kinda perfect for each other...we don't have unrealistic expectations from each other, we're both confused..."
"Is this your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?"
"I think so, yeah"
"Great, it fits our emotional unavailability perfectly!" I say sarcastically and we laugh
"Ok, let's be a couple then. And we'll see the results."
"I like it!" he says and after we look at each other for a few seconds, I lean in and kiss her without tongue. At first I feel a little awkward because it's been a long time since I've kissed someone romantically, but soon it starts to feel right, so I put my hand on her face and push my tongue in her mouth, kissing her slowly. When we pull away, we smile at each other
"Can we not go to the party? I'm cold..." she says
"Of course we're not going to the party, we're gonna go to my place and take a cold shower, hoping not to wake up with a cold tomorrow!"
"Couldn't agree more!"
"Look at us, seeing eye to eye for once!" I say proudly
"Yeah, hold that though!" she says not convinced at all, putting her seatbelt on and after doing the same, I start the car again, turning round

Sandra's P.O.V
On Monday, at around 1 at noon, I get behind the counter to start my shift, when I see Logan getting in the shop
"Logan?"
"Sandra! Hi! I thought Mike was working on Mondays..." He says, surprised to see me
"He is, but he's sick, so I had to come...Did-Did u learn when I don't have a shift so u can come when I'm not here?"
"Well, no, I just knew that Mondays are for Mike, that's all..."
"Oh, ok...So, u want a coffee?" I ask, without being too convinced by his answer
"No, I'm actually picking up Erin"
"Erin? Are u...?" I ask, trying not to draw any conclusions
"Yep, we are!" he answers proudly
"What? U're too bored to look for a girlfriend elsewhere?" I ask teasingly
"Well, actually I'm the one who told her about the job opening!" he says proudly again
"Oh! Then, I should thank u; She's really good and we really needed her!"
"U're welcome! So, assistant manager, huh?"
"Yes! I climbed the ladder!" I say smiling proudly myself now
"More like your boss' dick..." he says with a hint of irony
"What did u just say to me?" I ask changing my impression to pissed
"Well, I saw some photos of u and some articles, apparently u're something of an item!"
"That's none of your business! And I will not tolerate u talking to me like that!"
"I'm just saying! We ended things because u didn't want a relationship, but now, u're in a relationship with your boss that happened to make u assistant manager! It sounds fishy..."
"It's been a fucking year, Logan! Are u still hang up on that?"
"I'm really not, I'm just stating facts!"
"Ok, so, let's be clear on something; When we ended things, I really didn't want a relationship. The fact that a few months ago I changed my mind, is something else, ok? People are allowed to change their minds...now, please go wait for Erin outside!" I say strictly
"Congratulations on your promotion..." he says ironically and gets out, leaving me ready to burst from my nerves
"Did I hear Logan?" Erin asks perkily, coming out of the changing room
"Yes, he's outside. And from now one, tell him to wait for u outside, ok?"
"Oh, ok, sure. Did-did something happen? I heard u talking..."
"Nothing u should know about, at least not from me. Just do what I said and everything will be fine" I say, faking a smile
"O-ok...have a nice shift!" she says and leaves. When I make sure she's out, I call Mike
"Hey, quick question, how long has Erin been dating Logan?"
"U found out, huh?"
"I did. So, how long?"
"I think 8 months? Not long before she started working with us, why?"
"Curiosity!"
"Ok, what happened?"
"He accused me of sleeping my way to the promotion and I kicked him out..."
"He what?" he asks shocked
"Yep! Can u believe him?"
"Well, word is that he has become a little bit of an asshole, maybe it's the job..."
"Yeah, maybe...Anyway, I'll hang up now, thanks for the info!"
"Anytime, boss!" he says playfully and I chuckle before hanging up
