There was a complete silence in the group as Avalanche launched a subtle 'threat' to lady Anais which I believe was a little too much. Based on how I see things, the lady is completely clueless of Wintour's affairs and what she actually said was just her knowledge of how the French royalty works. Yet the Russian prince sadly misunderstood it and quickly switched into a defensive mode.

Avalanche is quite protective of his friends.

If you wronged one of us, you have to unfortunately deal with him.

I saw a stark surprise register on Lady Anais' beautiful face... especially the way his Russian majesty looked at her.

His blue eyes...piercing. His smile, foolish.

Lady Anais' mortified look slowly morphed into a 'still' terrified smile...

"I-I'm sorry your majesty, I don't understand... why did you say that? Was it something I said? E-enemies?"

Avalanche kept his expression and obviously refused to answer the now completely baffled noble lady.

Until we are approached by Daniels and he whispered something to Avalanche. Despite that, Avalanche's eyes remained on the Lady Anais...

He made a finger gesture on Daniels and rose from his seat, suavely fixed his suit, eyes, still fixated on Anais.

"I need to excuse myself as I'll be preparing my father's gift for his late birthday."

He meaningfully delivered which automatically drew smiles in our faces. But before leaving, he glanced at Anais and unapologetically uttered;

"No. You're not confused. You know exactly what you're doing... but I'm warning you...once I caught you red handed, Pandora is waiting."

He even winked.

In Russian, Wintour retorted as the other was walking away;

"What the actual fvck Avalanche?!"

Yes. He just threatened Anais. Well, lady Anais was nothing but shook and now really confused. She faced us and silently asked for an explanation.

Taehyung gave her a piece of idea;

"If you want to get along, be yourself. Well obviously, you didn't pass Avalanche's vibe check."
