"Lily, I said stop!"

I worriedly glance back at the lift where I noticed it opened by itself a while ago. I didn't see who was inside but it's probably one of the staff bringing something to her. Not once but a couple of times she tried doing this. Kissing me.

In a way I'm no longer comfortable.

"What's wrong? It's just a kiss. You act as though that junk of yours hasn't made its way inside me for a lot of times. "

A foolish glint in her eyes made me more upset that I automatically marched to the counter table and took my coat. I'm outta here.

For some reason, I feel disgusted. I can't deal with this right now.

"W-wait! J Louise! Like what the bloody hell is wrong with you?? Why are you so damn evasive?!"

She stubbornly grabbed my arm and had this frustrated look on her face. A look whenever things aren't going her way.

"Tell me. Is it a new girl? Are you dating?"

She asked in such a demanding tone.

"Better than I am? Like is this a serious one? Probably a sheltered posh little whimsical missy who can't eve-"

Without restrainig myself, madly, I retorted;

"YES. Way better than you. Unlike you, in a carousel, she prefers to stay on a single spot and has an eye for only one fucking single ride despite an endless loop while you go around, without contentment, riding every fancy horse you can find."

Shook, she stepped backward.

I crossed my arms. Until she had the courage to ask what I implied. I'm not stupid. I knew and figured out from the start that she's somehow aware that her little sister is staying with me. She's so demanding, trying to get even. 

"Carousel. Are you talking about my sister, Martina."

Well. At least she's aware that her sister is fond of carousels.

I chuckled;

"Don't act like you don't know. Normally you wouldn't run to my refuge, instead ask for another potential sugar daddy to salvage you. But since I took Martina under my wings, you thought that I would gladly offer you the same courtesy. You left her on her own Lily... that reason alone made me realize about your intentions. You want to outshine and take her place. You knew we really both like each other back then sadly, we're not fans of commitment...and you took that as an advantage. But things are different now."

Tears.

"But I am in love with yo-"

I raised a hand for her to stop.

"I'm only a helping hand that you can turn to. Pull yourself together Lily and think about your future...aside from the help I offer, there is none. There won't be a future for us. Stop your nonsense and think about yourself."
